Laural was born April l939 to Hazel Draper Humphrey and Sidney Bailey Bai-ley Humphrey in Provo, Utah She graduated from Provo High School and attended BYU. Before her rmce, she worked at the Ze4o and Skaggs. Laural met her best friend and eternal companion, Floyd LaVell Ostler on a blind date in Provo. They were married hi the Manti Temple, Tem-ple, July 20, 1960 and blessed with eight children to whom she devoted all her time and talents. Laural had a love for animals ani-mals and people whom she felt were the underdog in life. She loved the temple and worked at the Mt. Tim-panogos Tim-panogos Temple. The most important thing in her life was her marriage and family. fami-ly. She always made holidays holi-days special. Bryce Ostler, Pleasant Grove (currently serving our country in South Carolina); Caroli-na); Steven (Stephanie) Ostler, Pleasant Grove; Jon Ostler, Provo; 23 grandchildren grandchil-dren and sister, Vesa Smith, Arkansas. She was preceded preced-ed in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters: sis-ters: Blair Humphrey, Duane Humphrey, Val Humphrey, Amburs Humphrey, Thaola Tucker, and Virginia Packard. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 20, 2004 in the Pleasant Grove East Stake Center, 825 South Loader Drive. Interment was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. He married Cherie Southwick in 1958, later divorced and married Eileen Bradford in 1981, later divorced in 2002. He attended BYU and got his Ph.D. in Mathematics Mathemat-ics from the University of Utah. He was a professor at BYU for over 35 years, loving lov-ing everyday of his job. He had an unreal passion for knowledge and was always involved in new research with his colleagues at BYU. He was an avid outdoors-man outdoors-man loving hunting, fishing, fish-ing, camping and scuba diving. div-ing. He loved shooting and reloading, painting, spending spend-ing time with his family and friends and reading, always having a book in his hand. Virginia Vir-ginia was b o r ,n November 11, 1920 in Lehi, Utah to Francis Levere and Hilda Pearson Mitchell. She was the oldest of three children, Sherl, Richard and Virginia. She attended American Fork High School. She married Gordon Gayle Lee on May 18, 1942 and divorced nine years later. On March 29, 1957 she married to Richard Foster Pascoe. Educa-tion. She taught grades one through six over the course of her career at Taylorsville Elementary. She enjoyed her students immensely. Children always brought a special joy to Virginia. She enjoyed the outdoors, out-doors, gardening, cooking, sewing, drawing, genealogy and her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Gary, and grandchildren, grandchil-dren, Heath and Whitney, sisters-in-law Laei and Dixie Mitchell and four nieces and nephews.
