Thomas, our much loved husband, father, and grandfa-t grandfa-t h e r , passed away on January 18, 2004 due to com-plications com-plications from a stroke. Ernest, the son of Henry James and Marie 3M i 1 1 e r Thomas CSSSS2S was born on June 30, 1920 in Wales, Utah. He attended school in Wales and graduated from Moroni High School. In 1941, Ernest enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and received training to serve as a navigator. His assignment was to navigate "flying boxcars" for MAG 35 and carry troops and their supplies to battle zones in the South Pacific. In September Sep-tember of 1945, at the conclusion con-clusion of World War II, he was honorably discharged. He married Sydney Christine Chris-tine Nicholas on July 21, 1945. With their family fami-ly of four children, they were made an eternal family on April 16, 1964. He is survived by his wife EsaaaJ Sydney Thomas jiu-va and chil-dren chil-dren Mar-SKSSSSSEsa Mar-SKSSSSSEsa g a r e t (Robert) Wright, Ernest K. (Carol) Thomas, Howard (Salonna) Thomas, and a son-in-law Ricky Oliver. He is also survived sur-vived by 19 grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. grandchil-dren. A daughter Christine, a granddaughter Stephanie, and a sister Pauline Rees preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Wednesday January 21, 2004 in the Hillcrest Chapel. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery. Clarence Raymond Childs Beloved husband, father and grandfather, 92, died January 13, 2004. R a y -mond was born July 7, 1911 to Clarence M and Rose Conrad Childs. He married Gladys Shelley on November Novem-ber 22, 1940 in the Salt Lake Temple. Raymond graduated from Wasatch High School and Utah State University with a teaching degree. He served a 3 year mission to the Tongan Islands and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Raymond enjoyed repair :. ing cars, gardening, helping family and friends with repairs to lawn mowers and just about everything else. He will always be remembered remem-bered as a kind, honest, loving lov-ing man respected by all who knew him. After Gladys passed away in 1996, Raymond lived with and was cared for by his three children. Survived by his children, JaLaine (Lynn) Hicken, Carolyn Hopkins and Douglas Dou-glas (Theresa) Childs, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, brother Courtney L. and sister Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Tiechert. Preceded in death by his wife, grandson Blaine Warren War-ren Hopkins and great grandsons Alex Kenneth and Porter Don Hicken. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 17, 2004 in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, American Fork, Utah. Burial Bur-ial in the American Fork Cemetery. He was born on January Jan-uary 17, 1935 in Moroni, Utah and spent his early years in Castle Dale. He married Leora Guymon on June 11, 1959. Solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on December 10, 1965. He retired from the Army with 20 years then went to work for the U.S. Postal Service. Jason Cole rw fnndest memories are fishing, hunting and camping camp-ing in Joe's Valley. He is survived by his wife, and children Lone (Dave) Campbell of Lehi; Debbie (Wayne) Woodbury of Lehi; Kathy (Richard) Tower of Lehi; Glen (Mar-lene) (Mar-lene) Oman Jr. of West Jordan, Jor-dan, Richard (Katti) Oman of Payson; and Daniel Oman of Lehi. He was very proud of his family and loved them all, but his pride and joy were his 12 grandchildren. grand-children. Interment Inter-ment will be in the Lehi Cemetery. 4 - V - w" . - May 12, 1972- Jason Cole Wilberg, age 31, passed away January 17, 2004 at his home in Lehi, Utah. Jason was born on May 12, 1972 in Long Beach, California Cal-ifornia to Dennis Ray Wilberg and Connie Raye Borget. He attended schools in California where he graduated gradu-ated from Los Alamos High School in 1997. Jason moved with his family to Lehi in 1993 and has resided there since that time. Jason loved nature and being outdoors. He took great joy in being with his father and they fished, hunted pheasants, deer, duck and other wildlife. Jason and his father were constant companions and best friends. Jason's pride and joy was his dog "Mac". They spent many happy hours together. Jason was working for Valley Val-ley Lawn & Pest Control with his father in their family fam-ily business at the time of Wilberg Jan. 17,2004 his death. Jason had a great love for motor cycle riding, flying and adventures with his family while hot air ballooning. bal-looning. He was a member of the Lehi 8th Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jason is survived by his parents; Dennis (Connie) Wilberg of Lehi, his brother; Lance (Tammy) Wilberg also of Lehi. He was preceded preced-ed in death by his grandparents; grand-parents; Heston (Natie) of Orem and (lone) Borget of Wilberg Ramond Provo. Jason was a handsome man and a beloved son who brought much joy and love to the lives of those around him. He was a great support and friend to his mother, especially during her last illness. Jason touched the lives of all who knew him. He will never be forgotten only greatly missed.
