Kendall Clement Kendall wanted to go to Harvard until his recent trip to Boston with the Debate Club where he experienced expe-rienced the cold reaching minus 13 at one point. He was accepted into BYU last week and plans to major in political science. He took first in region in debate and is in the debate presidency. He is in the presidency of the National Honor Society and helps with the after school program at Central School. Kendall is the son of Laura and Mark Clement and is the oldest of eight children.' He comes from a musical family. His mom starts all the kids on the piano at the age of three. At eight he started playing the cello. His sisters play the violin and they have their own family band. Kendall is in the Community Com-munity Orchestra and will compete at the All State Orchestra. He teaches cello and piano. He tells everyone every-one he wants to become President of the United States. He would like to go to Harvard for Graduate School. He is very musical and plays the bass and the violin. He is in a lot of different orchestras and travels to Salt Lake City weekly to participate in the Young Artist's Chamber Cham-ber Orchestra. He also coaches bass for the Young Artists and also conducts a class at the junior high. He is in the Orchestra at Temple Tem-ple Square and participates with them one or two times a month.
