Goode Stanley J Goode, 71, died July 19, 2001 in Salt Lake October 8, 1929 in American Fork, Utah to Harold Leban and J o s i e Woffinden Goode. Stan was a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army, retiring1 after 25 years. He served two tours of duty in Korea and one tour in Vietnam and later worked as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. He was a High School counselor and ROTC instructor in New Mexico. Stan was active in the LDS church. He was involved in the scouting program and enjoyed associating with children. Survivors include his wife, Donna, of American Fork; children: VaNae (Danny) Lin, Provo; Kenneth (Suzanne) Lowe, West Valley; KayAnn Hayden, Seattle, Thomson, L e h i ; George (Sharlene) Ricks, American Fork; Ben Lowe; Dennis (Cindy) Lowe, Delta; Harold (Diana) Goode, Taylorsville; Denise (Kim) Judd, American Fork; Danny (Amy) Lowe, Sandy; Robert Goode; Danielle Judd, Provo; Martha (Kevin) Manning, Tehachapi, California; Tomas (Jen) Goode, Mesa, Arizona; 54 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren; his grandmother, Zella Thornton; a brother, Kay Goode; and two sisters, Maxine "Mickey" Rivera and Marian Robison. Preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Jean Berrey, his parents, and a brother, Jerry Goode. Funeral Services were Wednesday, July 25, in the Harbor 3rd Ward, 600 South 100 West, American Fork. Interment was in American Fork Cemetery, with Military Rites by VFW, District IV. and Read Sharon Fuhr Sharon Fuhr passed away August 5, 2001 peacefully peace-fully in her home, after a 10-month battle with cancer. Sharon was born November 2, 1945, the fifth of seven children chil-dren born to James Edward Saunders Sarah Erma Saunders. Sharon was born in Ogden, Utah and raised in Redondo Beach, California where she met and married her eternal mate, Steven J. Fuhr in the Los Angeles Temple on October 9, 1965. Sharon is survived by her husband, Steve Fuhr, her children: Kevin (Emily) Fuhr, Danny (Pam) Fuhr, Stacey (Jimmy) Carrington, and Cindy (Jerry) Gocken, as well as her 12 grandchildren, grandchil-dren, Derek, Heather, Christina, Sarah, Jerry, Stevie, Tripp, Saunder, Jay, Cavre, Jordan, and Sharon Ashley (due soon). She is also survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She was preceded pre-ceded in death by her parents, par-ents, a brother, and a sister. Sharon was a very loyal and dedicated employee all of her life. She was employed by GTE when she was 18 and retired after 27 years of service. She then worked for Niels Fugal Sons for five years. She was an asset to everyone she worked with. Sharon enjoyed life to its fullest. She recently commented com-mented that her life was complete and had no regrets. Sharon loved to travel and enjoyed playing and watching golf. The week before her death, she was able to take all her children and grandchildren to San Diego, CA. It was the most enjoyable and memorable of vacations. Her family was the most important thing in her life, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Sharon was loved by many family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 9, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lindon West Stake Center, 1600 North 950 West, Orem. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. David Curtis David Charles Curtis, age 47, of Lehi, died Aug. 2, 2001. Born Oct. 20, 1953, in Lehi, Utah, the son of Darrel Ken and Letha Margaret Colledge Curtis. He was a veteran vet-eran of the Vietnam War VinvinP' served in the Air Force for 7 years. He was employed as a welder and in the computer business. He served in the LDS Church as a gospel doctrine doc-trine teacher and was active in scouting. He married Lori Ann Smith, Jan. 18, 1974. Children born to this union were Branch Lee, David Ely, and Mariah Shy. Later married mar-ried Vickie Stewart. The Utah County Auditor's office mailed approximately 120,650 property prop-erty valuation notices on Friday, July 27. According to Utah County ClerkAuditor Arlin Kuhni, the notice is a property valuation and tax change notice, not a tax bill Property tax bills will be send out in October by the Utah County Treasurer. Individuals who disagree with this year's market value of their home, as listed in the property valuation notice, can file an appeal before Sept. 18.
