Paxman, 50th The family of Alfred (Al) and VaLois Peck Paxman are excited to announce their parents 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Aug. 22, 2008. Al and VaLois were married Aug. 22, 1958, in the Salt Lake Temple by Mark E. Peterson. An open house will be held in their honor on this date from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Larson Park church, 6000 W. 9600 N, Highland. All family and friends are invited to attend to celebrate with them. (No gifts please.) Alfred is the son of Haven and Eva Paxman. He is the seventh child of 12. He was born on Labor La-bor Day in Washington, Utah, and was raised there. He graduated gradu-ated from Dixie High School. He served an LDS mission in South Africa from 1955-57. He was an electronic purchasing agent before be-fore retirement from Hart Scientific. Scien-tific. He served as the 1st BLshop of the State Training School LDS Ward. VaLois was born in Lehi, to Virgil and Eva Peck, but grew up in Salt Lake City. She graduated gradu-ated from South High School. She worked for Highland City for , over 10 years before retiring in s 2000. Al and VaLois are the parents of Keldon (Annette), Kirk, Kraig (Nevon), Koreen (Tod Hansen), , and Kyle (Misty). The have 13 wonderful grandchildren, Ryan,1 JulievCory, Jennifer, Brooke, Lisa, Cody! McKayla, Lyndee, Sheri- j, dan, Dylan, Sarina and Mia and! great grandchild, Jack. A! and VaLois have held many positions in the LDS church, and are presently serving at the Senior Se-nior Missionary Training Cent. Andrew will be a 10th grader this year at Lone Peak High School. He is very active is sports, especially soccer and snow boarding. board-ing. He is the second of five brothers broth-ers as well as second to receive his Eagle in his family. He is the 1st counselor in the Teacher's Quorum in his Ward. Andrew also attended Timberline in 2006. For Andrew's Eagle Project he cleared rocks, leveled dirt and laid sod on the spectators area of the new Lone Peak soccer field.
