Show Thursday, May 10, 2007 NORTH COUNTY NEWSPAPERS Page 15 Obituaries BonnaVere (Bonnie) Beckstead Olson Bonnie was born August 8th, 1925 to Samuel Leonidas and Ruby Merrill Beckstead in Swan Lake, Idaho. She passed away May 3rd, 2007, peacefully at home. She attended grade school in Swan Lake and high school in Downey, Idaho. She at tended BYU for one year and then entered the Cadet Nursing Program, graduating graduat-ing from St. Anthony's Hospital in Pocatello, Idaho. She was a registered regis-tered nurse in Idaho and Utah. She married her high school sweetheart, Elwyn Carl Olson, in 1948 in Salem, Oregon. Their marriage mar-riage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple. Their first home was in Olympia, Washington, then Seattle and finally in American Fork, Utah, where they have lived for 52 years. She was active in the IDS Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She worked for Drs. Martin and Hammond in American Ameri-can Fork as a nurse for several years. She loved to sew, crochet, cook for her family, camp and enjoy nature, and play Pinocle, but her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She is survived by her husband, FJwyn, three sons: Brian (Alayna), Greg (Jann), and David (Rita), and one daughter Laurie Hansen (Thayne), 13 grandchildren, grandchil-dren, and 14 great grandchildren. Many thanks to MiLinda Hud-nall Hud-nall and the 1st Choice Home Health & Hospice staff, Trinity Mission Health and Rehab, and for the many friends and family who helped during her illness. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 1:00 pm in the American Fork North Stake Center, 26th Ward, 975 N 60 E. Friends called Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, American Fork and Tuesday at the church from 1 1:45 am to 12:45 pm prior to the services. Born Sept. 14, 1932 in Lehi, Utah to Dellis and Edna McKin-ney McKin-ney Wall He married Peggy Ann Jones on Aug. 21, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. She died Feb. 2, 2002. He was very active in many school and community sports teams. His favorite was playing football for BYU, he also played on the Army football team. Lehman Lehm-an served his country during the Korean war. He was employed at Geneva Steel as a Millright for 32 years. Lehman had a great sense of humor and loved to travel with family. A favorite place was Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park and to visit his out of state children. He was very generous always sharing what he had. He was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints and loved the gospel and scriptures. He and Peggy were blessed with 4 sons and a daughter. He is survived by: Michael (Colleen) (Col-leen) Wall, and Steve Wall all of American Fork; Doug (Monica) Wall of Rock Springs, WY; Julie (Craig )Shepherd of Meridian, ID; 14 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his sweetheart Peggy, his son David, and sisters Linda and Glenda. Born on May 9, 1916 in Lehi, UT to Alexander DeWitt Christofferson Christ-offerson and Louisa Vickery. She lived in the San Fernando Valley from 1942 to 2006 when she moved to an assisted living facility in Elmo. She is survived by her sons Robert M. Sturgis (Kathie) and Steven P. Stiefvater (Carol), 7 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brothers Dr. Paul V. Christofferson, Richard Christofferson, Leo Christofferson, Christof-ferson, her last living sister Eva Sherwood, and lots of nieces and nephews. She was a very caring car-ing and generous person, always helping those in need. She was the "Easter Bunny" to hundreds "of handicapped children for many years and would be seen every Easter driving around all over the valley in her yellow "Easter Basket" (dune buggy) all dressed up in her bunny costume. She would pick up and deliver food daily to various shelters and organizations orga-nizations and even when she was not able to do it herself anymore, she enlisted the help of others and made sure that it was taken care of. She has been recognized and given awards by numerous organizations such as the Blind Childrens Center, the United Cerebral Cere-bral PaLsy Spastic Children's Foundation, Foun-dation, the Valley Association for the Handicapped, Glenridge Center, and Beverly Enterprizes for the donation of her time, ma- ' terials and help. She brought joy to many people by the service she gave. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was known as the "flower lady" for the beautiful bouquets of flowers she brought to church every week. She was very popular with the missionaries mission-aries and had them over to her house all the time. She will be missed by all who knew her.
