She was born September 27, 1911, to James Edward and Eliza Chip-man Chip-man Peters. She was the third of 11 children. She was fifth generation gen-eration direct descendent of Steven Chip-man, Chip-man, founder of American Fork. She graduated from American Fork High School. She was married to Dr. Culver R. Andersen in 1933. He preceded pre-ceded her in 1999. They had three daughters, Juel (John) Belmont, Linda Metos, and Vicki (Jerry) Knudson. She is survived by her 3 children, chil-dren, 9 grandchildren Liza (Chris) Carter, Sally (Scott) Mayfield, Allan, Matthew (Jennifer) Metos, Jennifer (Roman) Kikta, Gerald, Joseph, Michael Knudson, Martha Mar-tha (Tyler) Dickman; 9 great grandchildren Rachel, Sam, Hank Warren; Melissa (Steven) Brooks; Sarah, John, Robert Mayfield; Grace, Alex Kikta and 3 great great grandchildren (Alex, Lydia, Lilly), brothers and sisters Millie Leary, Howard, Arlene (Carl) Ganung, Paul (Elaine). Preceded in death by Stanley, Elmo, Carl, Elizabeth, Jack, and Dale. Lois was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She was President of the Provo District Dis-trict Dental Auxiliary, first PTA President of American Fork High School. She and Doc were the Grand Marshals Mar-shals of the American Fork Steel Days celebration celebra-tion in 1992. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a gxd friend. She was a quick wit, had a great sense of humor, was a good story teller (family, town history). We will miss her rain dances that summoned the thunder storms. She had a wonderful won-derful life. The family would like to express ex-press their gratitude to Juel and Johnny for their faithful companionship compan-ionship over the years. We would also like to thank the nurses and aides of Hearts for Hospice for all their loving care and support. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 1, 2006 in the Anderson An-derson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. Interment, American Fork Cemetery. She was born May 1, 1945 in Salt Lake City to Woodrow F. and Clarice Daly Talbot. She married Ross Elwood Monson on June 5, 1964 in Bountiful. Gloria grew up in Salt Lake and graduated from West High School in 1963. She later attended College of Southern Utah in Cedar City where she met the love of her life and husband of 42 years. She and Ross made their home in Pleasant Grove where they raised their four children. Gloria enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and enjoying special activities with her grandchildren. grand-children. She is survived by her husband hus-band Ross of Pleasant Grove, four children: Doug (Donna) Monson, Levan; Susan (Mike) Tregaskis, Lehi; Emilee Monson, Layton; Lane Monson, Pleasant Grove; parents: Woodrow F. and Clarice Talbot, Salt Lake; mother-in-law, Elsie Monson, Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove; 12 grandchildren; a great granddaughter and six siblings. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 7, 2006 at 1 1:0(1 a.m. in the Old Manila Chapel, 2U00 North 900 West, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South .500 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Friday one hour prior to services. Ferron Johnson Ferron Johnson was born January Janu-ary 9, 1925 in Cannonville, Utah to Samuel Smith and Thirza Riding Johnson. Ferron was the 6th of 10 children. He attended schools in Orem, Utah. Ferron served honorably honor-ably in WWII with the Army Air Corps in the Pacific. He married and later divorced Lois Nelson. Ferron married G. Louise Johnson in 1966. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, rock work, hunting, hunt-ing, fishing and skiing. Ferron is survived by his wife, Louise and children: Les (Lynn) Johnson, Karen (Carl) Smith, La Von (Doug) Thomsen, Donna (Orson) Pead, Joy Anderson, Jonice (Bill) Hubbard, Cody (Margaret) Johnson, Reed (Rita) Johnson, Grant (Mary) Johnson.
