"If it is in print, we can find it," said Laura Wilson, one of the employees at the new store. In fact they order music from all over the world. But Utah County has lacked a large sheet -music store. "Customers have been asking ask-ing us and asking us to come out here," Jared Day, son and manager of both the Lehi store and the Murray store, said. "My brother, Adam, has also bought some land out here and is building a home, so Lehi was just a central place." Local schools with music programs can benefit from Day Murray Music coming to town. The business offers a profit sharing program for all schools. "We share half of our profits," prof-its," Rosanne Day said. Anderson earns recognition Alan Anderson, owner of Anderson & Sons Mortuary, Mortu-ary, American Fork, was recognized for distinguished service as a member of the Utah Funeral Directors Association As-sociation at the Annual convention con-vention held at the Marriott Hotel, April 6. Anderson represents the fourth generation in funeral service. For Earl, his father, funeral service was not a way of life, but, indeed, life itself. When Anderson was old enough, he started washing wash-ing cars and vacuuming the building. Then he advanced to making calls and serving an apprenticeship. Anderson was awarded his BA degree from BYU in 1967, the same year he began his experiences on the Board of Directors for the Utah Funeral Directors Association. Asso-ciation. He worked his way up through all of the chairs and in 1975-76 became the President of the Association. While he was on the board, he helped to establish a professional pro-fessional status and recognition recogni-tion for a funeral director by expanding the requirements for licensing.
