Classes will include the following: follow-ing: Writing your personal history, his-tory, The World and 1, water color painting, literature, Shakespeare, opera. "The Indian In-dian Wars ( 1806-1877), oral history, sensible nutrition for seniors, The European Jews and the Holocaust, The Joy of Music, Mu-sic, intermediate Windows and armchair travel. Classes will start Jan. 37 and will continue Mondays through Fridays. Elder Quest wiill send out a calendar with detailed information infor-mation to all members before classes begin. Center St., Lehi. Brent Fox, the audiologist, will be hosting a hearing clinic on Jan. 26, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Tho appointment is necessary. neces-sary. Free clinic Kensington Home Medical is sponsoring a health clinic at no charge the first Wednesday of each month at the center. Staff will be giving giv-ing blood sugar checks, blood pressure readings, heart rate monitoring and oxygen readings read-ings for free. OREM The Orem Friendship Center located on 93 N. 400 East is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 pm., with drop-in activities for seniors reading, television, billiards, quilting, shuff leboard, exercise equipment, equip-ment, exercise classes, walking track, computer classes, ceramics, ceram-ics, line dancing and more. Every Monday through Friday Fri-day from 11 &sn. to noon there is a dance social with live entertainment en-tertainment in the center's ball room. Bingo is played every Tuesday after lunch at approximately approxi-mately 1 pm The Orem Senior Friendship volunteers host the bingo play and provide prizes to the bingo players. Dr. Hanson graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in Englis'h, an MA in Theater and German, and a i'hD in Theater History and German. She is a faculty member in the BYU Marriott School of Management where she teaches communications, com-munications, business and religion to graduate and undergraduate undergradu-ate students. She served for nearly three years as the Associate Director of Brigham Young University's Jerusalem Center an Israel. Is-rael. Dr. Hanson co-edited "finding God at BYliT,a book about remarkable stories of emerging faith in faculty and students. She has also written a communication book called "Say It Right" Dr. Hanson s favorite pastime is writing and binding 'books for her grandchildren, which has led to co-ownership in a company com-pany called Bamma Books that creates and develops children's books.
