The evner and m&mgw h J.R. Jolley. J.R. is married t 5 Vsl Marie, and they are the parents of six children, plus a foster daughter. J.R. veas born in the little town of Antimony and spent his youth in Marysvale. He met his wife while in the service, Later he moved to Provo and attended the BYU. He worked for Paul Reams in Provo. then came to the present location in 1853. He worked here for seven years, then purchased the store. His business activities was interrupted in-terrupted by serving two years in the navy in the Smith Seas. J.R. has served as bishop of the Eleventh Ward for the past seven years. In 1363 a new building was built with a space of 7,500 sq. feet. In 1987 the store was enlarged en-larged another 4,000 ft. Expansion Expan-sion was continued with 11,000 ft. in 1967 and 12,000 ft. in 1973. Ream's has 123 f ulS and part time employees. Recently the meat department depart-ment was completely renovated making it one of the most attractive at-tractive in the area. Ream's is also proud of it's new modern bakery. Ream's carry a complete line of groceries, meat, produce and garden supplies. There are ten checkout stands to accommodate accommo-date the customers. J. R, gives as his reason for the continued expansion, good prices and service to customers, .many of whom come from all over the county. The Tuck School is the nation's nMwt gradufite school of business administration. It was fiundi in 18 through a fund established by Edward Tuck. Dartmouth 1S'2, international interna-tional banker and financier. It is a memorial to his father, Amos Tuck, Class cf 1835, member cf Congress for IS years.
