Spencer The furor over the ownership of the secret Pentagon papers have set off a flurry of owner ship squabbles all over the coun try, as people try to set up guide lines to tell what Is "yours" or "mine" or"theirs." This might be a new problem to some of those Washington diplomats, dip-lomats, but every "oman will recognize the dilema as having been with us since Adam and Eve had a discussion about it being "her" apple. For Instance, when a dispute over ownership arises between husband and wife, it can usually be settled with a minimum of talk, depending on which side you happen to be on. At our house, when I go downtown and buy something, I use "my" charge account. When the bill arrives, however, it gets shuffled Into the bills payable belonging to my husband. He gets even with me.though, giving me complete ownership of my laundry, my lrpning, my dishes and my vacuum. I also have custody, if not ownership, of the floor scrubber and pol isher, the window cleaner and the oven covered with burned on drippings from my apple pie. I also have acquired proprietorship pro-prietorship of the drycleaning order waiting to be picked up, the wedding invitations needing a response or a gift, and the empty em-pty container waiting to be car ried out to the gabage can. Reminds me of the days when our children were young. When they were sweet, agreeable and fresh out of the tub, they were ours.
