Show 1 &.J c ? u Vandals Rob YBRii Snsck Shack, Threaten Program Twice in the past two weeks the American League's "Snaci-Shack", "Snaci-Shack", located at LynchPaikon the Greenwood School property has been broken Into and merchandise mer-chandise taken. Officials of Western Boys Baseball Assn. are alarmed because be-cause the loss of this revenue threatens the boys baseball program, pro-gram, $60.00 does not sound like a whole lot of money, but this sum represents nearly a whole seasons profit from the sale of candy, pop and hamburgers at this stand. Mrs. Dorothy Tidwell, Mrs. Sharon Rackman and many other ladles have donated many, many hours in manning the stand durirg the games. In addition they have kept stock to sell on hand as by buying in a little larger lots they can save a few pennies hare and there and it sore does hehi, but these fine people are very discouraged at this point. Umpire fees, baseballs, bats and other items are paid for from this system but now we are worried that the program will suffer because of this vandalism. Parents are the only other source where we can go for funds, and these stands have been set up to aid in relieving parents par-ents from digging deeper Into their pocket for more money. The hational League at JayCee Park has suffered the same fate, the Beehive League Parks stand has not at this time because It is just a make-do affair at present pre-sent and nothing is left there. Could we the Officers of WBB A ask all parents of American Fork to help us stop these break-ins of the concession stands? If you have information as to who did break in report it to the A.F. Police and we must ask that the leagues be reimbursed for their loss from those who did it. We have worked on a shoe string so to speak with the baseball base-ball program and the youth of A.F. as well as the parents have been the benificiaries. The people in the program work long hard hours for their benefit but now we need the people of Am. Fork's help in this matter and it must stop or there will be no program.
