Jones lo Wed California Girl; Open House Slated Dec. 20 Of interest to a wide circle of friends comes the announcement of the approaching marriage of Miss Marybeth Reynolds, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther S. Reynolds of Anaheim, Calif., and Brent M. Jones of Lehi. The intended in-tended bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Jones of Lehi. Vows will be exchanged in the Salt Lake Temple on Friday, Dec. 20 with Elder Harold B. Lee of the Council of Twelve Apostles officiating. In attendance atten-dance will be the parents of the young couple, Mr. and Mrs. James Reynolds, brother of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. John Top-ham Top-ham and Mr. and Mrs. Karl G. Jones, sister and brother of the bridegroom. Following the ceremony, the wedding party will enjoy a wedding wed-ding breakfast at the Karl G. Jones home in Salt Lake City. , An open house reception will be held that same evening, at the Arthur Powell home, 824 North Second West, Leho. Receiving Re-ceiving will be from 7:30 to 9;30 p.m. All friends and rela tives are invited and no further invitations are being issued. After their honeymoon trip to Mexico, the newlyweds will make their home in Lehi. Eagles Auxiliary Holds Bake Sale The Auxiliary of the Ameri can Fork Eagles Aerie held a very successful Bake Sale last Saturday, December 14, ?t Reams market in Am. Fork, according to Helen Hall, auxiliary president. pres-ident. The group held the Bake Sale in order to raise funds to support a needy family for this Christmas. Christ-mas. Mrs. Hall said that the fam ily was from American Fork and they have four small children. All the members of the Eagles Auxiliary contributed to the sale and at a meeting to be held on Tuesday evening, each member has volunteered to further contribute con-tribute a can of fruit or vegetans vege-tans to add to the Christmas box. Also potatoes have been given by a local farmer and Mr. and Mrs. F. Earl Wright to Observe 60th Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. F. Earl Wright will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 23. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on December 23, 1908. Mr. Wright has followed the trade of brick mason all of his life with many beautiful struc tures to his credit. He was retired re-tired from Geneva Steel after 15 years of service. The Wrights have always been active church members as long as their health permitted, working work-ing in all organizations of the church. Mrs. Wright has made the Temple burial aprons for the Alpine Stake and after the stake was divided continued to make them for the Alpine and American Fork Stakes which she is still doing today. They are the parents of five children. Sherman T. Wright, Hayward, Calif.; William E. Wright, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Don (Edith) Searle and Fred T. Wright of American Fork; and another daughter, Mary who passed away in 1947; 14 grandchildren; grand-children; 17 great-grandchildren. A family dinner is planned for Sunday with visiting during the afternoon. And citizen-owners have electedJack N. Gridley of Spanish Fork to head their United Fund in 1969. These were highlights of the annual meeting at Provo late Monday of United Fund of Utah County, a non-profit organiza tion, wholly owned and operated by the contributors of Utah Valley. At the session, Max A. Saf- tenberg, General Chairman, announced an-nounced the durrent drive has scored $214,143 with scattered solicitations still unfinished. He credited strong support this month by physicians and others of the Professional Division with carrying the drive over the top. Mr. Saftenberg reported the following totals from the drive to finance local health, welfare and youth guidance services next year: Chapter Division, Chairman Richard DeJong, Pittsburg-DesMoines Pittsburg-DesMoines Steel, $159,063, or 101 percent of the $156,000 to tal. Mr. Safienberg said outstand ing performances in the Chapter Division were turned in by Group A (Mining, Manufacturing and Railroads) under James Hollan-worth, Hollan-worth, Rio Grande Railroad, with 100 percent; Group B (Retail and Banks, Utilities and Hospitals) under Blaine Taylor, Sears, with 111 per cent; and Group C, Lake City.
