Show DEMOCRATS TO STAGE FUND DRIVE Dollars for Democrat drive in Utah thi year will take place Sept. 14 to 24 inclusive. So declared William T. Thurman, Democratic State Chairman on Monday. The Democratic leader noted that although al-though the national Dollar for Democrats campaign will be held from Sept. 9 to 19, inclusive, the time of the Utah drive ha been changed in order to have it follow immediately the Sept. 13 primary election in Utah. To direct this important drive, Mr. Thurman announced that he has appointed Ross C. Clay, Salt Lake advertising executive, chairman, chair-man, and Mrs. Phyllis Scott, also of Salt Lake, co-chairman. Under their direction the Dollar for Democrat Dem-ocrat campaign will be coordinated coordina-ted with tho recently announced state-wide democratic registration drive to sign up all unregistered voters. "Dollars for Democrats," Mr. Thu rman said, "is the annual volunteer, vol-unteer, fund-raising campaign of tho Democratic Party conducted on a door-to-door basis throughout the United State and it territories. territor-ies. Its objective is to collect through personal contacts, thousands of small contribution ($1 or more) from private citizen.
