Show Gorlicks Leave on Church History Tour Mr. and Mrs. G. Jay Garlick of American Fork will soon be leaving by air on the BYU Church History tour. The tour departs July 21 and returns July 30. In addition to visiting all of the LDS church History sites, THE AMERICAN FORK CITIZEN, Thursday, uly 8, 1967 from New England to Nebraska, and viewing the famous Hill Cumorah Pageant at Palmyra, New York, the Garlicks will also visit Expo 67 in Montreal, Canada. JUNIOR RIFLE TOURNAMENT COMPLETED A six week series of practice and competition sessions were climaxed this past week with the semi-finals and finals in the annual an-nual Junior Rifle Tournament, sponsored by the American Fork Sportsmen's Association and the American Fork City Recreation. Danny Strain, of Am. Fork, took first place honors in the 14-15 year old division, with Richard Lund, Lehi second place, and Curtis King, Am. Fork third place In this division. Kim Shumway, Pleasant Grove, took first place In the 12-13 year old division, with Kevin Roseman, Lehi, taking second place honors and Richard Strain, American Fork, winning third place In this division. Bob Hadfield, president of the American Fork Sportsmen's Association, As-sociation, presented the trophies which were supplied by the Am. Fork City Recreation Committee. The Twelfth WardGulde Patrol class enjoyed a full day at Maple Dell recently. They had fun swimming, swim-ming, boating, and participating in scouting skills and etc. Those that attended were Kevin Shatter, Shat-ter, Bradley Robinson, Gilbert England, Deeth Peterson, Robbie Robinson, Mark GoodseU, Wayne Pederson, Jay Jensen, Kurt Holmstead, Douglas Mower and Jimmy Lamoreaux. Escorting the boys were Mrs. Donna Robinson and Mrs. Lucy Lamoreaux. It was a day well spent and a good time was enjoyed by alL Lt.
