MYRTLE SEASTRAND Myrtle Seastraid Dies, Funeral Services Held Myrtle Robinson Seastrand, 81, American Fork's "Mother of the Year", died Saturday in American Ameri-can Fork. She was a civic worker, wor-ker, artisan and writer. Mrs. Seastrand was born April 17, 1891 in American Fork, a daughter of William E. and Jane Chipman Robinson. She married Ernest Joakim Seastrand on June 21, 1911 in the Salt Lake Temple, and he diet! April 22, 1951. . Mrs. Seastrand served as captain cap-tain of the American Fork Daughters of Utah Pioneers for eight years and was twice nominated nomi-nated from Utah County for Utah State Mother of the Year. She held an art show with 50 canvas and china paintings. Active Ac-tive in the LDS Church Mrs. Seastrand was teacher in the adult Sunday School class for 30 years, was a member of the Alpine Stake Primary Board and Stake Sunday School Board and taught in her ward Relief Society. She directed and performed in dramatic roles both in the community com-munity and the church. She was a noted writer and has been a regular contributor to the American Ameri-can Fork Citizen Christmas Funeral services were held January 5 for Leo Pulley who died January 1, at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel, under the direction of Lewis Hardy, counselor in the Eleventh Ward bishopric. The family prayer at the mortuary mor-tuary was offered by Howard 3reen. Prelude and postlude nusic at the church was played jy Dorothy V. Taylor and the nvocation was spoKen by Wayne 'ulley. Joane Green gave the ife sketch and Shirley Anderson layed a piano solo, "Thine Own." Glenn Roundy was a speaker and his remarks were followed by a vocal solo by Rulon Nicho-les, Nicho-les, "Face to Face," accompanied accompa-nied by Dorothy Taylor. Bishop J.R. Jolley was the concluding speaker. Reid Carlson offered the benediction. Dedication of the grave in the American Fork City Cemetery was offered by Rulon Fox. Military Mili-tary services at the graveside were presented by the American Legion. Pall bearers were, Vard C. Pulley, Howard S. Green, Stanley Stan-ley J. Phillips, Wayne Pulley, Noble Kaneko and Ray Pulley. Flowers were cared for and arranged ar-ranged by the Eleventh Ward Relief Society. edition. (Genna Vee) Deans, Mrs. Chet (Lillian) Holmberg, and Stephen A. Seastrand, Seas-trand, all of Salt Lake City; 31 grandchildren; 15 great grand children; one brother and one sister, Lewis Robinson, Pleasant Grove; and Mrs. Don (Orpha) Ream, Las Vegas, Nevada. Vl PERCHY FREDERICK Funeral Friday For Perchy D. Fredericks Perchy Dickerson Fredericks, 80, died in a Wasatch County hospital in Keber, Utah, January 16, of causes incident to age. She was born ;..ay 13, 1892 in American Fork, a daughter of William Edward and Sarah Ann Conder Dickerson. She married Willis Fredericks Feb. 18, 1913 in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 12, 1964. She was employed at the Utah Poultry, a member of the Am. Fork Fifth Ward, Relief Society visiting teacher, past president of the VFW., member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and a Union Pacific Old T'mer. Survivors include, Mrs. Alrra (Ann) Beckstead and Mrs. Earl JsAnne Q. Grown Dies, Funeral Services Held JoAnne Quintana Brown, 35, of Pleasant Grove died Friday at her home. She was born December 5, 1937 in Myton, Duchesne County, to Charles J. and Phoebe Hemmel-wright Hemmel-wright Quintana. She married Robert Moore and they were later divorced. She married Ray D. Brown January 12, 1960 in Winnemucca, Nevada. She is survived by her husband, hus-band, one son and three daughters, Joseph Charles Moore, Penny J. Moore, Beth Ann Brown, and Deana Rae Brown, all of Pleasant Grove; Her parents of Lehi; eight brothers broth-ers and four sisters, Joseph F. (Naomi) Park, both cf Riverton; Mrs. Clarence (May) Benson, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Dean (Wil-ma) (Wil-ma) Deveraux, Raymond D. Fredericks and Mrs. LaVerl (Jean) Edwards all of American Fork; 24 grandchildren; 46 great grandchldren; one great great grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Anderson, Heber; Mrs. Roy (Stella) Cloward, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Suel (Wanda) Bushman, Lehi. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the American Fork Fifth Ward Chapel. Cha-pel. Friends may call Friday evening even-ing at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary from 7 until 9 p.m. and on Saturday until 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. The speaker was Delbert Curtis and the ladies trio sang the lovely hymn "In the Garden." Gar-den." Glen Austin spoke the closing clos-ing prayer and the dedication of the grave was by John Clegg. Pallbearers were Bert Snow, Morgan Forbush, Joe Young, Charles Jorgensen, Edward Anderson An-derson and Larry Covington. The flowers were cared for and arranged by the Lehi Sixth Wrd Relief Society. Interment was in the Lehi City Cemetery. CABTIVMGHT Services Held For LeRoy C. Hampshire LeRoy Clarence Hampshire, 83, American Fork, died January 10, of natural causes in the American Fork Hospital. He was born April 23, 1889 in Norfolk, Virginia, a son of John P. and Amy Frances Balas Hampshire. He married June DeLaMare Droubay, Sept. 4, 1937 in Ely, Nevada. She died Oct. 13, 1967. He was a member of the Presbyterian Pres-byterian Church, Damascus Lodge 10. F&AM. Survivors include; daughters, Mrs. EIRoy (Angenetta)Lamph,' Provo; Mrs. Loel (Janene) Dubois, Pleasant Grove: four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; grand-children; brother, William F. Hampshire, Norfolk, Virginia. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Anderson Ander-son and Sons Mortuary Chapel. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery. Peterson, American Fork, who died January 6, were held Tuesday, Tues-day, January 9, at 12 noon in the American Fork Ninth Ward Chapel. Cha-pel. Officiating was Bishop Virgil D. Peterson. The family prayer was offered by Allen Peterson and the prelude pre-lude and postlude music was played by Twila Hardman. Invocation Invo-cation was offered by Ronald G. Smith and Kenneth Beck gave a. life sketch of the deceased. A trio of women sang "In My Father's House Are Many Mansions." Man-sions." They were Judy Liddle, Ella Grace and Ilene Peterson. Bishop Wendell Lambert was the speaker who was followed by the trio singing, "Not Now But in the Coming Years." To conclude remarks were given by Bishop Virgil D. Peterson. Benediction was offered by Bishop LaVon Harward. Dedication of the grave in the American Fork City Cemetery was offered by Joshua Grace. Pall bearers were: Allen Peterson, Peter-son, Scott Peterson, Jay Conder, Tom Chadwick, Vern Adamson and Virgil Reiski.
