Ryt ting of Anchorage, Alaska, for merly of Salt Laker City are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Gloria, to Lewis Ross Johnson, son. of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine W, Johnson of Salt Lake City. The Johnsons were former residents of Alpine. .The couple will be honored at an open house ' reception on July 27, from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Alpine Ward Recreation hall. All friends and relatives are invited in-vited to attend, No further invitations in-vitations -will bg issued. The bride-to-be attended schools in Salt Lake City and graduated from high school in Anchorage. At present she is employed in-Salt Lake. Mr. Johnson "graduated from the American Fork Hgh School and atttaided Central Utah Vocational Vo-cational School at Provo. He served a six-month tour of duty with the U. s. Armv and at present Is working for - Elmca Corporation in Salt LaKe city. Parker of American Fork. The couple' plan to be married mar-ried Wednesday, July 25, in the Logan Temple. MUs Monson is a graduate of Lehi High School and LDS Seminary and at the present time is working at the Lehi Drive-Inn, Mr. Parker graduated from the American Fork High School and Seminary. He fulfilled a mission or the LDS Church in Britain. He formerly worked for Spafford Dairy in American Fork and is presently employed employ-ed at Hercules Powder Co.
