Parents of the groom are Mr. Merrill Allen and the late Maurine Allen aha of Pleasant Grove. Joell Richards performed the ceremony. For the reception held in honor of the newly-weds the bride chose a lull length gown of slipper satin with lace appliques. ap-pliques. The veil was accented accent-ed by a terra of sequins and seed pearls. She caried a white orchid in a triangle of stephanotis. Cleo Makin attended the bride as Matron of Honor, with bridesmaids Peggy Allen, Mrs. Nathan (Kathleen) Adams, Mrs. DeMonte (Jolene) Beck-stead, Beck-stead, Lyle Devey and Jane Makln. All wore blue dresses and carried white mums. Mac Boyer performed the duties of best man. Ushers were: Joe Ray Makin, Keith L. Makin, Leland P. Makin and Melvin E. Makin all brothers of the bride. Taylor, were held Sat. Oct. 7, 7, in the Second-Seventh Ward Chapel. Prayer at the home was offered off-ered by Chester Hill. Invocation Invocat-ion at the chapel was by Douglas Doug-las Clark. Benediction was by Kenneth R. Taylor, and the grave in the American Fork Cemetery was dedicated by Harold R. Anderson. Services were under the di rection of Bishop Earl Chad- wick. Speakers were Stewart Du- rrant and President Phil D. Jen sen. Musical numbers included a vocal solo by Dartell Wanless, who was accompanied by Mary Bailey, and an organ solo "Per fect Day" by Ann Francom who also played prelude and post- lude music.
