Louise Deveraux accompanied a special spe-cial musical number by a double dou-ble trio consisting of Melba Adams, Ad-ams, JoAnn Nell, Peggy Wall, Shirlt'y Greenwood, Gloria Carson Car-son and Velyle Taylor. Follow ing the Social Science lesson Eva Northwood, a solo was sung by Myrle Scott. Betty Johnson read a tribute and gifts were presented to the" outgoing officers, Letha Dur-fey, Dur-fey, Lela Smith, LuRae Ault and Myrle Scott. Light re'fres-ments re'fres-ments were1 served. Each lady present received a flower from Mrs. Northwood. Miss Deana Gerber and Karl Eu-jt'ne Webb are making plans for a June 5, wedding. Miss Gerber is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Gerber of Lehi. Tre future bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Karl E. Webb, also of Lehi. The ceremony will be solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple and will be followed on the same evening by an open house reception honoring the" newly-weds in the Lehi Third-Seventh Third-Seventh Ward church at 1095 N. 3rh West. Miss Gerber works at Belva's Beauty Salon in Ame'rican Fork as a beauty operator. Mr. Webb has recently return ed from the Swiss-Austrian mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and is at the present timt? attending at-tending Brigham Young . Univ. Bennett, iR-Utah) today received the Distinguished Distinguish-ed Service Award of "Americans "Ameri-cans for Constitutional Action" based on his voting record during dur-ing the past ten years and his activities In behalf of sound government. Bennett was one of 21 Senators and the only member of the Utah Congressional dele gation who received the award today. Honor Student A total of 14 students from Utah County were plattd on the' honor roll at Utah State University winter quarter, J. Elliot Cameron, dean of students stu-dents announced. Students on the honor roll must be in the upper five pi, cent scholastically of the Unlv-eersity Unlv-eersity enrollment, Dean Cameron Cam-eron said. The Utah National Guard's annual summer encamoments beginning June 4 at Camp W. G. Williams have presented some weighty problems for Guard Officers. Maj. Gen. Maxwell E. Rich Utah Adjutant General pointed out that some 3200,000, or 160 tons of 8-inch Howitzer, and 155 mm-Howitzer ammunition, together with a large amount off demolition materials has teen delivered to the Camp I Vilttamsammunition dump this week. Part of the materials came from Tooele -Ordnance Depot in Tooele County. Artlllary firing will be conducted con-ducted from May 29 through June 26, at both Camp Williams ranges and Dugway Pioving Ground in Western Utah. Test firing of all large wepons will be conducted May 29 through June 4. Service practice will get underway June 4. Training with demolitions will be conducted by the Army Guard's Special Forces from Tune 18, to July 2, and by the Engineer units September 6 to 20 at Camp Williams.
