Family Reunions Spratley Family The Spratley - Family reunion was, held at Rotary Park on Saturday, July 18. The activities cegan at 2 pm. Swlnunlng. softball, badminton, badmin-ton, volley ball, scramble for pennies In the haystack for the children, also relay races were tile many activities enjoyed. Each family brought their own lunch. Following lunch a family meeting was held. A welcoming wel-coming speech was given by La-Prele La-Prele S. Brown, after which a financial report was read by ! Marie S. Snow. A genealogical report was given by Joan S. Child, and a family chart was displayed which had been secured se-cured through the efforts of Mrs. Child, Mrs. Snow and Donna Don-na Stewart. Eeventy-two people were in attendance. Relatives from Various Va-rious parts of the state were there as well as, some from out of state. One family had three I generations represented at the I reunion. The girls participated participat-ed in judging different articles made by other 4-H girls. Later two oemonsiraiions were given by Betty Jean Mad-sen Mad-sen and Carol Holindrake. Betty Bet-ty Jean's demonstration was on "Cleanliness" and Carol's was on "How to Take Care of Shoes." . Friday, July 17, the Busy Bees 4-H Club visited the Utah State Training School They gave a party for thirty handicapped girls. Each 4-H girl brought one dozen cookies.
