The bride is the daughter or Mr. and Mrs. Orover C. Wag ley. Many Louisiana. Mr. Beck li the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven J Beck, of this city. ' A reception honoring the new-jyweds new-jyweds was held that same evening. eve-ning. The bridal party greeted guests before a lovely arrangement arrange-ment of tall, white tapers in ' tiered candleabra and bouquets of daisies and red carnations. I The lovely bride was radiant In a wedding gown of white embroidered em-broidered organdy over taffeta and net. vThe molded bodice, above the bouffant, waltz-length skirt, was accented with short scalloped sleeves and neckline. Her fingertip veil of illusion was caught to a small crown of flowers flow-ers and she carried a bouauet or wnite carnations. Joan Slay, Jackie Vogler and Carol Thulln, bridesmaids, were gowned, in Identical frocks of red velvet and taffeta, stvled similar to the bride's gown. They carried nosegays of white feath ered carnations. Malcolm H. Beck performed the duties of best man for his brother. The tiered weddlne cake, ore domlnantly red and white, was displayed on a lace covered serv ing table. White bows and streamers decorated the table Quests were served on small tables, covered with white cloths and centered by a miniature bride and groom. Mrs. Malcolm H. Beck performed, perform-ed, hostess duties. The guest book was cared for by a friend of the bride. Afton Wrlde, Irene Monson and Sharon Desmond were in charge of the gift display; dis-play; Nephews of the eroom. Steven. Eric and Mac Adamson, accepted the gifts. Background orean music was piayea. The newlyweds went to Sun Valley, Idaho for a honeymoon trip. For going away the new Mrs. Beck chose a dark blue velvet .suit, trimmed in white They are making their home in urem. Mr. Averett The City-County .Health De partment announces the retire ment of one of their sanitarians who has been working 'in the south end of Utah County since the organization of the Depart ment and with Springville City for approximately ten years. He was 'sanitary Inspector -for Springville City when the City-County City-County Health Department was organized in January of 1952 and came to work with this or ganization at that time. r Mr. Averett was born in Springville and went to the springville Schools for his education. edu-cation. His wife is the former Grace : Wlgnell and they have lived in Springville all their married life with the exception of a few years in Brleham.. Mr. Averett worked as a meat cutter cut-ter in Springville and Provo, be ginning this work at the age of 19 years. He worked at the Utah State Hospital for six years and with Springville City on Police and Health work for approxi mately ten years. The first meetlne will be held in Provo in the City amd Countv Building at 6:30 Dm. on Decem ber 12 for the people living in me central section of the county. The second meeting will be held at 7:30 da. on December 14 in the Memorial Building in.Lehi for the people living In the north part of the county.
