Show THE AMERICAN PORK CITIZEN, Thursday, November 4, 1954 FI73 American Fork Couple to Celebrate Their Golden Wedding Anniversary A Ji . : .''- ' " ': V V Mr. and Mrs. Lot Robinson will be honored on their golden wedding anniversary at an open house Sunday, November 7 from 2 to 5 p. m. at their home, 525 East 2nd -North. They were married mar-ried November 2, 1904. Mr. Robinson was born January Jan-uary 19, 1880 in American Fork, the son of William W. and Sarah Eckersley Robinson. He filled a mission for the LDS Church in the Southern States from 1900 to 1902. He served in the bishopric bishop-ric as a counselor for four years, and as bishop for eight years and is a former member of the Alpine Stake High Priest presidency. He is now Alpine Stake storekeeper and has been since the church -welfare program-was started. Mr. Robinson "has served 44 years for the American Fork Irrigation Ir-rigation Company and is still active ac-tive in it. He took an active part in the Deer Creek project and te still on its board. No one in American Fork is more alert or with a keener, understanding of Hello Folks .the water problems. He always 1 says a town is no longer than its J water supply. He served u 3 city marshall and street superintendent superinten-dent from 1920 to 1922. Lucille Larson Robinson was born November 15, 1882, in Sable Herbie, Denmark, the daughter of Peder C. and Emma Jensen Larson. They Immigrated to the United States when Mrs. Robinson Robin-son was five years old, to join the saints in Pleasant Grove. She is a model homemaker and with her own children shared her home with many who were homeless, both young and old. Her motto, "If there's, room in your heart, there will be room in your home." She"aTpTedentbf the- Primary Pri-mary for five years and a class leader in the MIA for 14 years. Mrs. Robinson was one of the first Bee Hive leaders in the ward. She was president of the Relief Society for 14 years. . Their life has been very active. Always alert to the things that would make American Fork the most desirable place in which to live. Their great joy is in the growth of their ward, with room in their r hearts for all their friends and their, arms outstretched out-stretched to all who" are new.
