Show Six THE AMERICAN FORK CITIZEN Thursday, July 2, 1953 Pretty Home Wedding Unites Connie West and Stanley Adams la pretty home wedding at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon L. West, Provo, their daughter Connie West, became the bride of Stanley J. Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oeorge Adams, American Ameri-can Fork. The ceremony was performed by Phllo T. Edwards, president of the Sharon Stake. Ttv attractive bride wore a ballerina length dress of lace rer satin featuring a scolloped rounding neckline and - short tucked sleeves. Her short lace edged veil of net was caught to a crown of pearllzed orange bios-noma. bios-noma. Her bouquet combined pink glads with a white orchid and satin streamers. Frosted white organdy dresses were worn by the bridesmaids. Ruleae West, sister of the bride. Barbara Baxton, JoAnne Vincent and Elolse Dart. Standing as best man was the groom's brother, broth-er, Oeorge L. Adams. Mrs. West chose navy blue and white print and Mrs. Adams wore tourquolse crepe. Each pinned on a corsage of pink and white j gladlolasj A reception followed with many friends calling to wish the couple well. The bride Is a graduate 'of the Lincoln High School and Is now a student Licensed Practical Nurso at the Utah Valley Hospital. Hos-pital. Mr. Adams graduated from the American Fork High School i and attended the Utah Vocational Vocation-al school. He is employed in I Provo where they will reside. Following the ceremony the groom's parents were hosts for a wedding breakfast In the Coral Room of the Temple Square Hotel. That evening Mr. and Mrs. Oreen hosted an open house to compliment their daughter, the former Vivian Oreen, and new son-ln-law. Miss Marilyn Pulley Miss Pulley has asked her sister sis-ter Carolyn to be maid of honor and attendant will be, Mrs. Kay Peterson (Wanda Larson) and Louise Beck, a cousin. Her small sister Julie Ann and Oenlel Parker will be flower Kir Is. The bride elect Is a gradnate of the American Fork High School where she was a member of KDA, the Pep CJub, Ladles Olee and the band. Since grad uation she has been employed at the Deseret Chemical Depot. Th prospertlve bridegroom, a recent ronvert to the LDS church, served four years In the us Army. At present he Is a music student under Mr. Parrish at the McCune School of Music, Salt Lake City. The bride elect graduated from the American Fork High School where she waa a mem ber of the band for three years. She has since been employed In the telephone office. She Is a member of the Elderettes Club. Mr. 81ngleton, also a gradu ate of the local high school, was active In Future Farmers of Am erica and represented his chapter chap-ter at the National convention in Kansas City. He has served two and one half years in the United States Navy and is currently stationed at Newport. R. I., where the couple plans to make a temporary home.
