Tours begin at Gate House number one of the Geneva plant at 9:30 a. m and last approximately two and one-half hours. tius wm te tne eigntn year the tours have been sponsored by Geneva Steel company, a pioneer in arranging plant tours for the public. The tour program was Inaugurated in 1942 and since then more than 125,000 people have visited the plant to get a first, hand view of the operations involved in the making of steel. Officials said that arrange ments for Tuesday tours can.be made by calling or writing to the training division of Geneva Steel company by the Friday preceding Lthe Tuesday tour. Other regulations which the public should keep In mind for the Tuesday tours are: 1. All visitors shquld be at least 16 years of age. 2. Some form of head covering cover-ing j8hould.ierorn, 3. Cameras will not be permitted permit-ted on Geneva plant property. 4. All visitors should be American Amer-ican citizens. Visitors from for- ! eign countries can be properly ! cleared if names and addresses ! are submitted at least three days in advance of the scheduled tour. . It is hoped that the Tuesday fours will take care of most tourists tour-ists and visitors, but the company through its training division will also consider requests for special tours from Monday through Fri- ; day. Robinson, vice presi dent and manufacturing super intendent of Sperry division General Mills, is retiring after more than 30 years with the com pany ond 40 years in the milling industry. Announcement of Mr. Robin son's retirement came last week from E. O. Boyer. division presi dent, San Francisco, , Cal. A native of American Fork, he is a son of Mary C. and the late C. E. Robinson, American Fork. Mr. Robinson began his milling career with the Lehi roller mills under his uncle George Robinson. By 1924 he went to Ogden as plant superintendent and in 1935 was transferred to Kansas City to the same position. He became manufacturing superintendent oi the central division of General Mills in 1938. He was transferred to Minneapolis, Minne-apolis, Minn., a3 assistant manufacturing manu-facturing superintendent in the company's headquarters, becoming becom-ing superintendent in 1943. Pick of Murray and Eert Atwater of 502 C Street, Salt Lake City, were arrested Sunday during a road blockade conducted by the State Fish and Game Department De-partment officials and two mem bers of the Uiah County Sheriffs Office. Golden Peay, Utah County Coun-ty Warden, assisted by Virgil Draney, a special deputy from American Fork, conducted the road blockade in cooperation with James Zimmerman and Roscoe Kay, Utah County Deputy Sheriffs. Atwater was arrested on the charge of illegal possession of a Chinese pheasant. He plead guilty before David H. Carran, Justice of the Peace, and was fined $100. The pheasant had been killed with a 25-callber rifle. It is alleged Pick had in his possession a lamb illegally taken from the flock or Emery Nicnois.
