Centennial American Fork Fourth ward Sunday School will observe the centennial of the organization at service to be held Sunday evening at 7:30 in the ward chapel. Mrs. Leo T. Hansen, who has charge of the program, has spent many hours searching ; the old and present ward records so an accurate history in narrative and pictures could be presented. -Preliminary music will be by Vernon Arnoldus and Delbert Ray Chlpman, violins, and Mrs. H. OUbert Barton, piano. The congregation will sing -"Thanks for the Sabbath School" and Superintendent Sup-erintendent William T. Mills will make introductory remarks. Pictures of all the Sunday School superintendents will be shown with the historical nara- tive by Mrs. Hansen. Between speakers Kenneth L. Robinson will sing "Who's On the Lord's Side, Who" and O'Deil Nielsen will sink "The Mormon Boy." The closing number will be "Put Your Shoulder to the Wheel." Richard Ballantyne was the first superintendent of the Sunday Sun-day School of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, being appointed Dec. 9, 1849. Leonard E. Harrington was the first superintendent in American Fork (July 4, 1852 ) . He was followed fol-lowed by John McNeill (1854-1856), (1854-1856), John Bourne (1856-1858, 1860-1862). William - Paxman (1864-1883), with Isaac Abel as acting superintendent during a mission from (1875-1877), Warren B. Smith (1883-1901), George F. Shelley (1901) to the division of the wards-that year. Joseph B. Forbes was the first superintendent of the Fourth ward after the division (1901- 1904). He was followed by Earl S. Greenwood (1904-1915),. Will- lam M Barratt (1915-1917), Will- ard R. Halliday ( 1917-1923 ). James M. Grant (1923-1928). Adolphus Pulley (1928-1931), Henry E. McNeill (1931-1933), Leigh Ingersoll (1933-1934), James S.
