Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hunter GOLDEN WEDDING Mr. and Mrs. Prank (J, F.) Hunter celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Thursday evening, Dec. 2, with a family dinner party at their home. An elegant arrangement of American Ameri-can Beauty roses centered the table around which were seated the children and grandchildren of the couple. Mr. Hunter, the son of Eben-ezer Eben-ezer and Alice Parker Hunter, -was born In American Fork, April 2.v 1870. Mrs. Hunter, who was Josephine Larson, was born In Copenhagen, Denmark, April zs, 1870, and came to Utah at the age of eight years, settling with hr narenti in Pleasant drove. They were, married Dec. 2, 1898, In Pleasant Orove, at the home of the bride, with the groom's father performing the ceremony. After llvine In American Fork for 10 years they moved to Idaho where they lived until l30 wnen they returned to American Fork. Mr. Hunter has followed the occupation oc-cupation of farming. Mrs. Hunter Hunt-er has been an active member of the Relief Society, serving for many years as a ward teacner. They are the parents of eleven children, nine of whom are living. liv-ing. ' ' Smart In Its simplicity was the wedding reception given Monday Mon-day night for newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Bruce K. Riddle who that morning had recited nuptial vows In the Salt Lake temple before President Robert I. Buron, great uncle of the bride, the former Lynette Bennlon. The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley J. Bennlon. White chrysanthemums and roses made effective livlngroom decorations and the lace covered dining table held a wedding cake flanked by tapers. For her wedding . the bride chose a model fashioned of heavy slipper satin with court train and a deep net yoke edged with pearl trim. Her fingertip veil of net fell from a crown of orange blossoms nd she carried a single orchid and a white Bible on which both their names were engraved." Mrs.-Grant Bennlon was matron mat-ron of honor, Mrs. Thomas Nelson, Nel-son, attending matron, and Miss Vernlce Jackson, bridesmaid. Their corsages were gardenias and white carnations. Dick Balle'au performed the duties of best man. - For her daughters wedding Mrs. Bennlon wore gray, and Mrs. Carl Rayburn, Cedar City, mother of the groom, was attired attir-ed In green. Their corsages were pink roses. Assisting In entertaining were Mrs. LeRoy Bishop, Provo, and Mrs. Reed Bennlon, Salt Lake City, who had charge of refreshments; refresh-ments; Miss Bonnie Jensen and Miss Charlene Madsen, who cared car-ed for the gifts; and Joan Bish op, a cousin Bemeice Oarlick and Earlene scnreiuci, students of the bride, wno ved.
