Rob erts and family went to Mantl Friday where Mrs. Roberts and the children are visiting with relatives and Mr. Roberts is en joying a few days fishing. Mrs. Bate went home with her daughter for a three weeks stay. E. R. Oaisford is back, at the linotype in the Citizen office after a vacation of two weeks. Thursday all of them took a motor trip through Provo canyon, can-yon, Heber, Park City, and Par leys canyon and into Salt Lake City where they attended "Showboat". "Show-boat". ?.Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nelson and son Bob returned late Tuesday afternoon from a five day trip. They were guests of their son and brother, Wtlford o. Nelson and family In western Millard county. Mr. Nelson Is doing antelope research work for. the government at the experiment station there. In Baker, Nevada, they visited with Mr. and Mrs. John Singleton and Mr. and Mrs. Orval Brown, and they made a trip through Lehman's Caves In that vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. WUford H. Grant and daughter Gretta, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Mrs. Grant's sister, Mrs. Vera Biglow and daughter Mary, Los Angeles were guests here the first of the week of relatives of Mr. Grant. It has been thirteen years since he visited his native city. In their honor members of the Grant family were entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Grant Monday eveningFam ily reminiscences and viewing of motion pictures taken by the Melvln W. Grant family were enjoyed. The visitors left Tues day for Los Angeles where the Grants will spend the next' six weeks as guests at the home of Johnny Longdon, we known jockey, who is a brother of Mrs. Grant. Those entertained Monday night besides the out of state visitors were Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Grant, Mr. knd Mrs. Melvln W. Grant andjfamily, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn A. Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Junior N. Chadwick Elected To State Dental Group "Mrs. James S.'Thad wick" "was installed as third vice president of the Utah Dental auxiliary at a prettily appointed breakfast held in the Rose Crystal room of the-Hotel Newhouse Friday. Mrs. Clark E. Has kins, Logan, is the new president. The Installation ceremonies climaxed a week-long series of social functions for the auxiliary who had played hostess to the ladles of the Pacific Coast Dental convention. Mrs. C. R. Anderson, president of the Provo district auxiliary, had charge of a luncheon Thursday Thurs-day on the Roof Garden of the Hotel Utah, to which 340 ladles attended. Miss Miriam Young sang two solos, and Miss Janice Chadwick played a piano solo and accompanied Miss Young. Mrs;' Anderson was also one of the hostesses at the tea given at the Governor's mansion Monday Mon-day afternoon, and with Dr. Anderson An-derson was in the receiving line at services held In the .
