Bonnie Jean Crofts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Crofts, who was very seriously Injured in a car crash, was removed to her home Aug. 19 and Is now up and around. A winsome daughter to be called Lynne was born Aug. 25 to Richard and Elaine Galsford Dabling, at the Caribou county hospital, Soda Springs, Idaho. The ninth grand child for the A. F. Galsfords, she is the first for Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dabling, Lund, Idaho. Great-grandmother Great-grandmother are Mrs. W. Creer, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Eliza beth Galsford, American Fork, who is also the great-grandmother of Larry Allen Singleton born Aug. 18, to Mr. and Mrs. Tkrl Singleton, Los Angeles. Marriage Fnrrman White Alpine Mothers Club The home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller was the scene of a quiet home wedding Wednesday Wednes-day evening, August 20, when Mrs. Miller's cousin, Eugene White, Susan vllle, Cal.. took for his bride Miss Pearl Fun-man, Provo. The ceremony was performed per-formed by Bishop Rulon F. Nich-oles. Nich-oles. For the Informal wedding the bride wore white net with a corsage cor-sage of gardenias and pink rosebuds. rose-buds. She was unattended. Gladlolas enlivened the living room and the dining table held a lovely wedding cake flanked by green candles. In attendance were Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Wingwood, Mrs. Edith Clayburn, and George Peay, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Duke and Miss Merilyn Duke, Heber; and Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Merkley, American Fork. Following a honeymoon at Lake Tahoe, Cal., the couple will make their home in Provo. Thursday of last week mem bers of the Alpine Mothers club had dinner at the Alpine Grille, went to Orem to the flower show, and attended the Scera theatre. Mrs. Thayne Bateman and Mrs. Clifford Kettle were special guests and members attending were Mrs. Frank Bateman, Mrs. James H. Beck, Mrs. Loy Beck, Mrs. George Brown, Mrs. Edward W. Burgess, Mrs. Warren V. Clark, Mrs. Alta Devey, Mrs. J. William' Healey, Mrs. Milton B. Mulr, Mrs. Ray mond Robinson. Mrs. A. H. Smith, Mrs. Fred Strong, Mrs. Ralph Strong and Mrs. J. William Strong. lean Fork, was born August 20, 1865, the daughter of Washburn and Mlndwell Houston Chlpman, early pioneers. She was married to George Alma Varney Dec. 22, 1882 In the Old Endowment House In Salt Lfke City. Mr. Varney died August 25, 1944. " An active member of the IDS church, Mrs. Varney was a member mem-ber of the Third ward Relief Society So-ciety presidency for 19 years, a member of the Old Folks commit tee for 40 years and a Relief Society block teacher for 20 years. In her younger years she did a great deal of home nursing In the community. She is a charter member of the Merrymakers club. Mrs. Varney's children4 are Earl, Glen and Leo Varney, and Mrs. Mlna Chilton, American Fork, and John L. Varney, Poca-tello, Poca-tello, Idaho. She has 34 grandchildren, grand-children, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild. Mary Kristlne is the name of Dale and Delores Fehlberg Rob-bins Rob-bins first moppet. She put in an appearance at .the local hospital Aug. 21, at 12:30 p. m. weighing eight pounds 11 ounces. Grandparents Grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Fehlberg, American Fork, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robblns, Orem; great-grandparents are Mrs. Martha Keatley, American Fork, Joseph H. Adams and William Robblns, both of Pleasant Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Evans (Irene Blnns), Lehl, are rejoicing over the arrival of a son Aug. 23, at 8 p. m. Waiting for his coming home are a big brother and sister. Mrs. John Blnns, American Fork, and Mrs. Aaron Evans, Lehl, are the grandmothers. Eugene and Marian Anderson Barker, newcomers to American Fork, have a new daughter, born at the local hospital Tuesday, The little lady weighed in at 7 pounds 9 ounces. Two year old Linda is waiting to welcome her home. It's another girl for Sydney and Ernest Thomas. She arrived at the Utah Valley hospital Aug. 20 at 7 p. m. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Nlch oles, American Fork, and Mrs. Marie Thomas, Falrview. There are three great-grandmothers to help spoil the baby, Mrs. Amanda W.
