Mower, president Utah Poultry Producers auxiliary, was one of the speakers at the Idaho State Farm Bureau institute insti-tute held at Orace. Idaho. Satur day. She spoke at the afternoon meeting and also following tne evening banquet which was attended at-tended by 460 Farm Bureau members. . John. Webb, lormet American Fork resident, executive ' secretary secre-tary of the Idaho organization, was toastmaster for the banquet. Mr. and Mrs. Mower and Mr. and Mrs. Dell Singleton, who attended attend-ed the meet, were week end euests of Mrr and - Mrs. - Harry Steele, Thatcher, Idaho. Mrs. Marvin Brown, Mrs. A. F. Gaisford, Mrs. T. A. Greenwood, and Mrs. J. Stanley Peters attended at-tended a meeting of the presidents presi-dents of First District, Federated Womens club, held at the Provo city library Saturday. Business pertaining to the spring convention conven-tion and the division of the dis trict were discussed. Wednesday. Special guest were members of the National and State Federated Music clubs of which La Tona Is an affiliate. Guests were Mrs. Frank A. Johnson, Salt Lake City, national nation-al vice president; Mrs. J. Tracy Wootton, state president; Mrs. Lester Hewlett and Mrs. M. D. Bringhurst, vice presidents, Salt Lake City; Mrs. B. Thomas Wilson, Wil-son, Kansas City; and Mrs. Ken neth McDonald, state rural chairman. All were presented with corsages. Mrs. William C Ashby read the club collect and grace was offer ed, by Mrs. Ray Monson. Boley who read "I Am Music", and Mrs. Hewlett 'who ga-ve two violin numbers, "Romance" (Eversale) and "Adoration" (Borvoalol) and two vocal Solos "The Birthday" (Woodman) and "The Dawn" (Curran). Mrs. . Wootton gave a talk on the organization of the Federat ed Music club; Mrs. Johnson urg ed the gdup to raise their musical standards, Mrs. Bert Timpson paid tribute to the retiring officers, offi-cers, Mrs. Alvin E. Monson reported re-ported on Lyceum activities and future plans, and Mrs. Karren told of activities for the coming year. Mrs. Joseph E. Rhodes greeted their many friends at a wedding reception re-ception given in the Alpine gym nasium Monday evening by Mayor and Mrs. Warren V. Clark, parents of the bride, the former Beverly Clark. The groom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Rhodes. The young couple recited their nuptial vows Friday evening in" the Salt Lake temple before Benjamin Ben-jamin F. Bowering.
