Presbyterian Missionary Mrs. Frank Ruslck was hostess I to the Presbyterian Missionary society Thursday afternoon of last week. Mrs. Isaac Binns took Icharge and presented the So-! So-! clets new publication "Out reach". Mrs. Ralph seibel completed com-pleted the study book "The Threshold" and refreshments were served by the hostess. Literary League Miss Hermese Peterson, principal princi-pal of the training school at the Brlgham Young university," was the guest speaker before mem bers of the Literary League Monday Mon-day evening. Miss, Peterson told of her trip to Russia Just prev ious to the outbreak of the war, explained the Soviet philosophy; customs and mode of living. The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Leo Nelson with Mrs. Ross Buckwalter assisting hostess. Barbara and Katheleen Buck-waiter Buck-waiter gave violin and flute selections. East Lane East Lane Bridge club was de lightfully entertained Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Ernest Froelick. A delicious lunch was served to the members and Mrs. Neldon Birk, Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth E.' Hall and Mrs. Neldon Varney special guests. Prizes were won by Mrs. Varney, Mrs. Robert Bailew and Mrs. Edwin K. Oscarson.
