Richan, received re-ceived his honorable discharge from the navy at Shoemaker, ; -ai., August 5, after 14 months in the service. He served at Camp j Elliot, San Diego, at Astoria, and owan island, Ore. .He arrived home Thursday of last week. Capt. Jack Van Dorn, husband of Mildred Bate Van Dorn and son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Van Dorn, Salt Lake City, arrived home last week on terminal leave after spending five years In the service. He will receive his final discharge in September. A mem ber of the signal supply corps he has spent the entire time in the States, his last station being Laurensburg-Maxton, North Car olina. Paul a. Gardner ETM 2c, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Ray Gardner arrived home Tuesday after re ceiving his discharge from the navy at Shoemaker, CaL, August iz. He enlisted In December. 1844, attended school at Chicago, Gulf port, Miss., and Treasure Island. He served aboard the USS Henrico, made one trip to BiKini island and spent the rest of his time at Wahlawa the Pacific Pa-cific Navy Radio station In the nawauan lsianas. WITH OUR BOYS Pvt. CHORUS CENSUS BEING TAKEN The Assembly of God Church, meeting in the Legion Hall in American Fork, has begun a Sunday School and Church census cen-sus of the town and surrounding community residents who have moved in and have not yet sought out a place of worship. - Pastor Warren J.
