Miss Betty Wlscomb of Salt Lake City has been a guest this week of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clark of Alpine. Mrs. Baron S. Pearson and children of Pocatello. Idaho, have returned to their home after visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen F. Beck. Dr. and Mrs. James W. Moffett of Palo Alto, Cal., are announcing announc-ing the birth of a daughter, their first, born May 7. The happy grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. B F. Moffett and Mrs. Lillie Wilde. The baby will be called Mary LiNell. Mrs. Karl M. Chrlstensen of Long Beach, Cal., has been visiting visit-ing with relatives the past week. She is the house guest of Mary and Sam Barratt. She came to Utah especially to attend the wedding of her granddaughter. Betty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mercer Chrlstensen of Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bowen and twin daughters, Sharon and Karen, are visiting this week with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bowen and their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter F. Bowen. Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Bergman of Casper, Wyo., were overnight guests Saturday of Mrs. Bergman's Berg-man's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al ma Earl. Mrs. C. A. Plerson of Los Angeles, Ange-les, a former American Fork resident, resi-dent, was a guest Wednesday and overnight of Mrs. Byron Crookston. The two ladles spent Thursday In Salt Lake City visiting visit-ing friends. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Beck and family and Mr. and Mrs. Le-land Le-land Beck and family were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ferrln Sager for dinner Saturday In honor of Gay Beck who Is leaving for a mission next week. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Penrod received re-ceived a letter this week from their son Jimmy written from Juneau, Alaska, telling them he was going to Shungnak, 35 miles north of the Artie circle. He has a Job with the Bureau of Mines and is going with a group who will sample for asbestos and oil.
