Jones, Mrs. Fred Preston and Mrs. Relva Booth Ross. Sheldon L. Cannon AMM 2c spent three tlays- the first of the week visiting with his sister, Mrs. Harold Holley. Mr. Cannon has just been released from the navy after 40 .months spent at Pense-cola, Pense-cola, Florida. He Is enroute to his home in Tremonton. Mrs. Marlon Robinson returned return-ed home Sunday from a visit of ten days in California. She accompanied- Mrs. Joseph Vincent of Salt Lake City to the coast where they were guests of Mrs. Vincent's son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Best of Hollywood and also visited with her daughter Miss Bettye Robinson Robin-son at the UCLA. Clubs and Socials Mrs. E. N. Wagstaff entertain ed at dinner Saturday night for her daughter and their husbands. This is an annual affair with Mrs. Wagstaff. Her dinner table held an attractive centerpiece of violets and daffodils and Easter favors. Special guests were Mrs. George Webb, Mrs. John Hunter and Etrlck Miller of Shelley, Ida. Durrant has chosen for her new baby, Walter was informed in a letter written by the mother when the baby was three days old. Mrs. Durrant is still in Nottingham, Eng., but told her husband that she had been told she would be given ship passage as soonas the baby Is three months old. Seventies Honor Bishop -Leo T. Hansen, member of the 67th quorum of Seventy until his appointment recently as bishop oflhe Fourth ward, was the honored hon-ored guest Monday evening at a social given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Richards by the seventies of the Fourth and Sixth wards. Kenneth Robinson, Mrs. Knord Beck and Mr. Han sen furnished musical numbers and Mr.' Hansen expressed his appreciation for the friendship of the quorum members. Games were played' and refreshments served to 13. Ashby leading, lead-ing, occupied the time of the LaTona Music club when they met at the home of Mrs. Francis B.. Abel Wednesday -afternoon. Folk songs of various foreign countries as well as American types, Indian, Cowboy, Ozarks and others were sung by the group. Mrs. Frank G. Shelley presided and lunch was served by the hostess, Mrs. Charl Anderson, Ander-son, Mrs. Ashby, and Mrs. Norven Brown.
