Sec. 5, T6S, R2E. 15706 It is proposed to divert 2 sec. ft. of water for domestic purposes from January 1 to December De-cember 31, from an, 8-in. well 475 ft. deep at a point N 2662 ft. and W 1245 ft. from SV4 Cor. Sec. 8, T6S, R2E. The diverting and carrying works will consist of an 8-in. well, 24-in. collecting collect-ing main, a pumping lant and pipe distribution system. H Watson Insuring Safer Working Plant Conditions Safer working conditions for men and women on the production produc-tion line is the object of a new series of conferences for supervisors super-visors in industry now being scheduled over the state, according accord-ing to Carter S.-Grant, supervisor super-visor of vocational training for war production workers in the State Department of Education. "The Supervisor's Part in Safe ty" will be stressed at the con ferences by trainers recently schooled by the "itfBJect, Mr. Grant said, He added that this phase of the Supervisory Person nel Development program pro duced through his department had proved the most popular of six divisions presented to date. Commander Ed Sharkey, dis trict training officer for the Twelfth Naval District, was among 11 to appear at an institute insti-tute conducted by Mr; Grant on the safety phase of the program at the Capitol in Salt Lake recently. re-cently. He was greatly enthused over the program and urged its presentation throughout the district. Others in attendance included B. F. Jones, Clarence Wilson, Thatcher AUred, Mortimer Decker Deck-er and Glen Alexander of Weber College, Ogden; J. T. Wilson and Robert Nelson of Utah State at Logan; John T. Arbon of the Central Utah Vocational School at Provo; Winston Crawford and Tracy L. Christensen of Salt Lake. Mr. Grant said conferences have already been scheduled for war instilatlons such as the Og den Arsenal and Clearfield Naval Depot, while others will be held in the mines over the state and various other industries in the near future.
