The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Peters' mother, Mrs. C. R. Jones. Local Items Mrs. Eli J. Clayson spent the week end In Salt Lake City visiting visit-ing with her daughter, Miss Naomi Brown. Mrs. Fred T. Wright Is visiting indefinitely with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wright. Aviation Cadet Fred is expecting a furlough next month and will spend it here with his wife and parents. Mr. and Mrs. William Chipman left Tuesday for Los Angeles. Mr. Chipman is making the trip In the interest of the Mercantile company. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bassett, and daughter, Ilia, of provo, and son Cpl. Myles O. Bassett of Elpaso, Texas, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Nielsen. Cpl. Bassett Is home on a 25 day furlough fur-lough after being transferred from Alaska where he was stationed sta-tioned for three years with the Coast Artillery. Wilburn Roberts of Burley, Idaho, is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jess Gooch. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bleak were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glen L. Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Galsford and daughter Elaine were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Norton of Provo. Mrs. Galsford had returned Sunday morning from a ten days visit in San Francisco with Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Powers and Sgt. and Mrs. Blaine Swenson. Mr. and Mrs. David H. Adam-son Adam-son of Highland are visiting indefinitely in-definitely in Los Angeles with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jacobs. Before Be-fore returning they will also visit with Mrs. Carrie Sykes Keif t, a niece of Mr. Adamson's, and other relatives In Hollywood.
