Pratt Jr. who has been in Salt Lake City the past two weeks on business in connection with the Pullman Car company; pent the week end here with his father. Mr. Pratt has charge of the Pullman business in all the west-em west-em states. Mrs. George Bingham has returned re-turned from a three weeks' trip to Burlingame, Cal., where she visited with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Datge and became be-came acquainted with her new granddaughter, a recent arrival at the Datge home. Mrs. Lewis Winnetts and daughter, daugh-ter, Miss Gerry Ball of Ean Diego, Cal., were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Grant for several days last week. Noyes were hostesses Monday Mon-day for a family dinner party. The afternoon was spent in social chat. Those attending were Mrs. Andrew Kjeld, Mrs. Dell Asay, Mrs. Azer Southwlck, Mrs. Don Southwick, Mrs. Ben Lott and Mrs. Wheeler Timothy, all pf Lehi. In compliment to the eleventh birthday of her daughter, Jacque- j line, Mrs. Fred Carter entertained 16 guests at a party Friday afternoon. after-noon. Thursday Thurs-day evening after the concert the members of Mrs. Beck's family gathered at her home In a surprise visits A delicious lunch was served and gifts presented to the guest of honor. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Ephle Nash and son Blaine, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Adamson. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Nash, and the immediate family of Mrs. Beck. Friday evening Mrs. Beck's daughters daugh-ters entertained at a dinner party in her honor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Anderson of Salt Lake City. Assisting Mrs. Anderson Ander-son were Mrs. Winn Carlisle, Mrs. Joseph Shelby of Salt Lake and Mrs. Glen A. Wright of American Fork. Attending were the families of the hostesses, Mr. Knord Beck, Nash Grant and Mark Grant. Mrs. Winnetts and Miss Ball went to Salt Lake Sunday evening and spent Monday visiting with the Webbs and on Tuesday returned to their home. Mr. and Mrs. George Webb were pleasantly surprised at their home Saturday evening when a number of relatives gathered for a Valentine Valen-tine party In their honor. JUNIOR LITERARY LEAGUE The Junior Literary league met Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Adair Bromley with Mrs. George Scott as assisting hostess. A review of Virginia Soren-son's Soren-son's popular novel, "A Little Lower Than the Angels," was given by Mrs. Leroy Thome of Pleasant Grove. The Dally Thought was given by Mrs. Sherman Robinson and musical mu-sical numbers were two accordion solos by Miss Shirley Williams and guitar music by a quartet consisting consist-ing of Louise Boley, Mary Ann Wanlass, Reva Hunsaker and Wanda Larsen. In the absence of the president Mrs. Scott presided. A delicious luncheon was served to 15 ladies. LA TIIALIAN Mrs. Glen L.
