Kenneth Nielsen and Keith Nielsen, representing the Nielsen Auto company, com-pany, attended the "Wasatch Roundup', Round-up', for Chevrolet sales and service men. at Lagoon, Monday. The Roundup is the big annual outing sixinsored by the Chevrolet company Mr and Mrs. Irving L. Pratt attended at-tended luneral services at Provo Sunday, for Mrs. Harriet Una Loveless Love-less Beebe, wile of Horace E. Beebe. Waiter Strange, former American Fork resident, has established an ice-cream manufacturing business In Castle Rock, Colorado, according to word received by friends here. Mr. Strange owns and operates the Uockview Creamery,, which is lo-cnted lo-cnted In a new building on the principal street of the city. His former place of business was burned out, last June, but despite this misfortune, mis-fortune, Mr. Strange started anew. The coming year will be Crandall 's second at the medical school. Mr. Graham, with whom he traveled. Is known by many American Fork residents who attended at-tended B. Y. U at the same time. He is a college faculty member at Columbus, Missouri. Robert Galsford. Blaine Pierce and Roland Dean arrived home Wednesday Wednes-day morning after a trip to Payette, Idaho. Duncan, and relatives at Salt Lake City. The Merry-Makers club enjoyed a social Friday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. J. E. Spratley. A chicken dinner was served to the twelve in attendance. Games were played, Mrs. Rose Varney winning the first prize, Mrs. Susie Miller the cut prize, and Mrs. Eliza Durrant the consolation conso-lation award. Elder R. G. Gardner, who Is on an L. D. S. mission in Canada, has been transferred to Montreal, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Ray Gardner. Elder Gardner spent 11 ntonths in Toronto, the transfer being made because of unsettled conditions due to the European war. In traveling to his new field of labor. Elder Gardner made a 450-mlle trip by boat across Lake Ontario and down the St. Lawrence River. The book revelwed by Mrs. Johnson was Vardis Fisher's story of the Mormon people, a contemporary best-selling novel. Members of the American Fork camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers met at the home of Mrs. Luther Giddl..r on Thursday of last week. Mrs. Merling D. Although hr con dition is sull serious, Mrs. Hofhelns has been removed from the oxygen tent, and It la believed she is on the road to recovery.
