High School Notes As we entered the "Enchanted Garden" Friday night we beheld beautiful sight On the north wall stood a huge castle with bright lights twinkling from its windows; and by its side was a beautiful sunset. While walking to this end of the halL we scanned the side of the walls, which were decorated to rep resent a rock wall. In the north east corner a rock garden was placed, this was set off by a goldfish pond. The ceiling represented a huge spider web, and in the center of the web rested the old spider himself. Moss in the form of green paper fin ished the celling from the spider web to the walls. The orchestra pit was built to represent a grape bowery. Music for the affair was furnished by Howard Kearna'. orchestra of Springville. Those in charge of the Prom were: Irene Giddlnga, chairman; Laura Vance, Barbara Pett. Verda Miller, Lloyd Hayward, Donna Woocton, Reva McDonald. R. Gardner, Jack Peters and Phil Jensen, assistants. Helen Smith and Edgar Booth, were the faculty advisors in charge. Girls' Day will be held Friday, April 12th. The following schedule for the day haa been worked out thus far by officers of the Athletic club, who will be In charge. All girls will be asked to wear percale dresses and hair ribbons for An assembly will be sponsored, with girls only participating. A "Tea" for the girls and their mothers will be held at the High school at 3:00 o'clock, At night a dance will take place in the Gymnasium, with the girls acting as escorts. The hall will be decorated for the occasion. The Spring Festival, which Is being be-ing sponsored by the music department depart-ment of the four schools, (Lehi, Pleasant Grove, Lincoln and American Ameri-can Fork,) will take place April 29th and May 1st The Olee clubs, bands and other musical organizations have been rahersing for some time now, and a splendid affair is expected. It will be presented on the lawns of the American Fork High School. Mrsl George Webb left Tuesday for Price to make an extended visit with her daughter, Mrs. Joshua Has-lem. Has-lem. " Mrs. Ray D. Nicholes and son. Paul, Dr. and Mrs. P. "M. Kelly and daughter, Connie, motored to Provo Sunday where they vtelted with Joseph K. Nicholes and family. Later Lat-er in the day they went to Springville Spring-ville and visited with relatives there. They also attended the art exhibit at the Springville high school. The Adams camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers will meet next Thursday at 2 p. m. in the basement of the tabernacle. The Thornton family are m charge of the pro gram and will give a history of a member of their family.
