Mr, lleber Nichols was hostess Tuesday to her foursome. Present were Mrs. Peter Smith, Mrs. Helen Sullenger and Mrs. W.D.S. Brown. A 12 o'clock luncheon was served after which bridge was played. Visitors last Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hard-man Hard-man were Mr. and Mrs. George Swanaon and family and Mrs. Dixie Pino of Salem and Mrs. Lee Mitchell of Vernal. The daughter of William W. Johnson received the name Jill Ann ette Johnson and was blessed by her father at church in West Jordan last Sunday. Afterwards all returned return-ed to the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Johnson. W. Johnson, Bobbie Lee and Johnny and Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Christensen of Copperton, Miss Claudia Butterfield, Mr. Lowell Low-ell Mauss and Mrs. Ray Bodell of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. George W. STUDY GUILD TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT, OCT. 10 Copperton Study Guild meets Monday evening, Oct. 10, at the Immaculate Conception Church hall at 8 o'clock, according to Mrs. W, D. Kidd, program chairman. A film on Glen Canyon Dam will be shown. Members are invited to bring their husbands or a guest to the meeting. Hostesses for the evening ev-ening are Mrs. William Ablett and Mrs. W. E. Granquist. Mrs. Jimmy Griggs and family visited last week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Armitstead. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mr. Henry A. Cheever Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever and family of Granger, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peterson and family of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Rager and family of West Jordan. Mr. and Mrs. Verio Kendrick and family spent an enjoyable week end at Charleston. Special guest of their son, Ricky, was Rodney Rasmussen. Visaing with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Larsen is Mrs. Larsen's bro- ter, Suzanne, were dinner guests Sunday at the homo of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Taylor of White City. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Osoro, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Osoro, Mr. and Mrs. John Osoro and Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Man-uel Osoro spent last week end in Elko, Nev. While there they attended attend-ed a basque party. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Throwbridge of Idaho Falls, formerly of Bingham, Bing-ham, recently spent a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sadler. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Floros and family, fa-mily, Athena. Pam and Nicky, visit-ed visit-ed with Mr. and Mrs. Gus Pappas of Magna Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Shrewbury of Long Beach, Calif., visited with Mr. and Mrs. John E. Greene and Suzanne Monday ' evening. The Greenes took the visitors on tour of the mines, this being their first visit to Utah, and later in the evening even-ing all enjoyed dinner at Wright's Cafe which is in connection with Rancho Bowling Lanes in Suit Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Shulls of Salt Lake City visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis DeCol Tuesday Tues-day evening. Mrs. Shults also attended at-tended Mutual at the home of Mrs. Thomas Sadler. Relief Society Copperton Ward Relief Society will hold its monthly work day next Tuesday, Oct. II at 10 a.m. at the ward house under .direction of Mrs. Helen Granquist work day leader. There will be quilting and handcraft hand-craft ideas for Christmas gifts. All ladies of the ward are invited. Mrs. Howard Hausknecht showed show-ed slides and gave a lecture on chrysanthemum culture at a meeting meet-ing of the Rake and Hoe Garden Club at the University Club in Salt Lake City last Thursday. Mrs. W.D.S. Brown visited with Mrs. Gladys Harrison of Logan for three weeks. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tho-mas Anderson Monday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. John Eastman of Kearns. Last Saturday night Mr. and Mrs Clarence Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Christensen, Mr. end Mrs. T. J. Hurley, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson of Copperton, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jones of Kearns, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Contratto of Murray and Mr. and Mrs. John Brown of Midvale enjoyed en-joyed the evening in West Jordan Kevin Fitzgerald and Dennie Deal were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sadler. Mrs. J. A. Fike was hostess to her pinochle club Monday evening. A very delicious late luncheon lun-cheon was served to nine. Mr. and Mrs. Francis L. Sax visited visit-ed in Midvale Sunday with Mrs. Albertina Sax and Mrs. Theresa McPhee. Mrs. Albert J. Ray visited with her daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Forman and family of Herriman Wednesday. Miss Beverly Ray of Salt Lake City visited Tuesday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Ray and in the evening attended Mutual at the home of Mrs. Thomas Sadler. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sadler, Kevin Fitzgerald and Dennie Deal spent Friday fishing. Mrs. Dewey Wright visited Monday Mon-day with Mrs. Joseph Fellows of Salt Lake City. Irene Pino was honored with a birthday party celebrating her 1 0th birthday last Thursday afternoon, Sept. 29, given for her by her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Ross Pino. Nineteen guests were present to offer congratulations con-gratulations to the honored guest and join in games and refreshments. Enjoying the party gaiety were Judy Gough, Judy Ann and Carol Wilson, Renae Adderley, Carol Lynn Johnson, Lynn Wanl-.ier, Janie Winn Jaynie Johnson, Neysa Xanthos, Bobbie LaBounty, Ilene Garcia, Afton Bray, Kristine Bodily, Maxine Scroggin, Laural Kendrick, Sharon Osoro, Paula Poulsen, Debra Hardman and Beth Bryce. Games came dressed as grown up ladies. A draw prize was given and it was won by Paula Poulsen, A delightful after noon was enjoyed by all. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Osoro and daughters Sharon and Marie, and Mr. and Mrs. George Massa of Lead Mime were visitors at the Bob Cochran Coch-ran home Wednesday evening. Mrs. John E.
