Miss Esther Pulley, who - has been employed as bookkeeper and stenographer steno-grapher at the A. W. Pulley and Sons feed mill for the past year, has accepted accept-ed a position as bookkeeper and stenographer for the Mutual Creamery plant here. She assumed the new duties on January 8th. Those present were: Delia Robinson. Fern Robinson, Robin-son, Maxine Darling, Mable Durrant, Eva Baxter, Iva Snape, Arvllla Cunningham, Cun-ningham, La Verne Butte, Erma Wat kins and Donna Wootton. Tuesday afternoon the members of me senior class or the A. F. H. S. were very much elated over the arrival of their class rings. They will feel that these rings are the best looking class rings that any group of sen ions hare ever had. The ring Is yellow gold with some white gold trimming and a small red stone upon which is engraved a gold A. Out of T5 class members 41 have already received their rings and are wearing them and later in the week an order was sent off for more. In honor of Mrs. Eliza Durrant's (0th birthday and also the 11th birthday of her granddaughter, Norma Durrant, a supper was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Durrant. "Sarlta" and "Birds At Even' Tldtf' sung by Howard Mendenhall and Rulon Nlcholes accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Mary Humphries. A solo was sung by Mrs. Edna Flrro-age Flrro-age accompanied by Mrs. Josephine Strange. Dr. Thomas L. Martin gave a lecture on his travels In Russia. Piano selections were rendered by Mrs. Strange. Fol- I lowing the program a dainty lunch was served. Third Ward Play A Big Success "Only Me" presented by the Third Ward Dramatic club was highly successful. suc-cessful. The play was very interesting interest-ing and the cast well chosen.' Fay C. Peterson, who carried the leading role, displayed exceptional dramatic ability, and the supporting cast, although some of them were inexperienced players, acted very much at home In their parts. The audienoe was thrilled with- the HramR und romance, brought to a fit ting climax In the third act, when "Sancho De Qarica", played by Mr. Eddie Lee, admits the shooting of Nate Lancing, and the humorous situations were brought about by this same "Sancha De Garcia" and "Miss Flnner-ty" Flnner-ty" a spinster beauty operator, played by Sylvia Shipley. . The other characters Including Ell Clayson aa. a young aviator, Marga-rette Marga-rette Blrk as the haughty cousin. Ma da Shelley . as the grandmother, Frances Fran-ces Abel as the doctor, Ruth Blrk as a modern young lady mud Everett Devey as the young aviator's rival, were played as they should have been to be the most effective. A large crowd attended the performance and everyone present reports a very entertaining; en-tertaining; and enjoyable evening. Mr. and Mrs. Earl M. Devey are the proud parents of a fine baby girl which arrived at their home Saturday night Mrs. R E. Baxter of Salt Lake, sister of Mrs. Devey. is caring for Mrs. Devey and the new arrival who i are reported doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. D. J.
