Allen selected their annual Animal Judging team and Crop Judging team for the Utah County Fair, September 27th, 28th and 29th, at a meeting held the first of the week. The team for the Animal Judglns consists of Eldon Draper, Vern Holliu drake and David Wagstaff. Alternates are: Wendell mnns, sianiora aieeie. Albort Chadwlck, Don Wagstaff, Sidney Sid-ney Sager and Jay Willis. Crop Judging team: Earl Chadwlck, Chad-wlck, George Jacklln and Lewis Day. Hew B. Y. U. Stadium To Open With First Football Game On Saturday, September 29, the new B. T. U. stadium will be used for the first time. The Blue Cougars, of Brlgham Tpung unlrerslty, on that date will play football with the Coyotes, of the College of Idaho, tor two years the champions of the North, west conference. The first unit of the stadium will be completed. Five thousand five hundred seats will be awaiting the eager fans who are desirous of seeing a team of Cougars coached by Ott Romney, B. T. U's new mentor, In action against a powerful team. There Is every reason to believe that the game la to be a thriller. The Cougars will be In excellent condi tion for so early in the season, and the Coyotes are sure to be powerful for- the dope shows that- they hare three ends, Ave backs, three tackles, one 'guard and two centers of last year's powerful team back. Coach Romney will have an aggro. gation to throw against the Coyotes that will rank well with the teams of the Rocky Mountain conference. In the backfield he will have such speed demons as Rowe, Larry Peterson, Clarence Skousen, Joy Buys, of the varsity squad of last year, and such interesting backs as Vacher, Ballif, and Paul Thorn, who has come up from the freshman squad. Grant -"Rags" Ingersoll and Wayne Nlelsoni of American Fork, will both likely get Into the battle Saturday as both are doing well on the line. Rags is playing end and despite his short experience in football is showing up remarkably well. The game will begin at 2 p. m. The ! experience of seeing a game in the new stadium will be especially en. Joyable. Every seat of the first unit Is an Ideal seat for football as the entire field can be seen perfectly. The rise of the seats will make is possible for the spectators to look down upon the game In such a way that every play can be followed. A public address ad-dress system will aid much in the understanding and appreciation of the game. Stadium season and long-time seats are still on sale. Orators Will -Broadcast From Salt Lake Station Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evening, until further notice. Republican spellbinders will be heard over the radio from station K8L, Salt Lake, for periods of fifteen minutes, starting at 7:15 o'clock. This announcement an-nouncement is made by Carl R. Furcussen, chairman of Republican State Committee. Speakers will discuss national Issues only, according to directions from National Headquarters, Chicago, who arranged for the broadcasting. The Utah State Committee is to furnish fur-nish the speakers. 0 ' Lehl Victors Over American Fork Gun Club In a friendly shooting match the Lehl American Legion rifle team were easy victors over the American Fork Rifle club members early this week on the Lehl range.
