This class will be given by Mrs. Evalina Reed, U. N., under the direction of the Utah County Health Unit - - - A - similar class is- being conducted in Sprlngville and one will commence in Spanish Fork in "October. ' At a recent meeting of the Literary Association, the following committee Was appointed to work in conjunction with the Relief Society on this movement: move-ment: Mrs.' Willis Bromley, chairman, Mrs. William Chipman and Mrs. Abe Gudmund8en. "The HIndley family have contributed contribut-ed a sum ot money to aid In the work, and a list ot suggestive books is now being considered to buy with the money. About 30 ladies were present on Wednesday and a large crowd were tn attendance Thursday. Some valuable recipes were given as well as other instructions. A number ot the recipe's were used in the cooking demonstration. The ladies were served with the articles made during the afternoon. o DISCING EITCE MUCH APPRECIATED Those who attended the picture show here last Saturday night, at the Alhambra-Theatre witnessed feal treat Miss Green's panclng classes of American Fork and Pleasant Grove closed their summer's work in a revue, re-vue, which was given in American Pork on Thursday, and .repeated aere the following Saturday. Each ope of the preformers, showed the result of careful and artistic training given by Miss Green, who Judging by the results seen Saturday night has a very bright future before her In her chosen profession. A number of the patrons expressed disappointment in not seeing Miss Green in one or more solo dances. The costumes were very artistical ly made,, each to suit the little dancer for her special number. -"There were twenty pupils enrolled In the course, all appearing in the revue, except three who were too 111 to appear. The pupils ranged from three to 13 years ot age. Mfss Green, Is to be complimented for a very successful summer's work. DOUBLE MARRIAGE AXSOUNCED Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Wright announces an-nounces the double marriage of their daughter, Alice, to Ray Slater, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nephl Slater of Lehi, and their son, Calle Hales, to Miss Chrissle Jeppeson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Jeppeson of Provo The young couples were parried in Salt Lake City Tuesday, September im. ....... ; ...... Wednesday evening, a well arranged arrang-ed dinner was given In their honor at the home of Mr. .and Mrs. Chris Jeppeson in Provo. A beautiful bouquet bou-quet of roses formed the centerpiece for the table. Covers were laid for eighteen members ot the immediate families. Mr. and Mrs. Slater will make their future home in Lehi, where their many friends are wishing them future happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Hales will live In this city. ITAN FOSTER H0XE FROM EJiGLASD MISSION Ivan roster, son of Mrs. Emma Foster, arrived home the first of the week from a two years mission for the U D. S. Church In England. He was met by friends and relatives In Salt Lake City Sunday, and arrived in this city Monday. According to reports, Mr. Foster fulfilled a wonderful service while in the mission field. For 17 months he labored in the London district, 4 months of which time he. was clerk. The latter part of his time was spent In the New Castle District near Sunderland, Sund-erland, England. The last five months he was branch president In the district dis-trict where he labored. Mr. Foster expresses the statement that he enjoyed his mission very much and appreciates the wonderful ex. perlence he has enjoyed, but adds that he Is very glad to be home.
