Games were enjoyed followed by dainty refreshments. Hallowe'en decorations adorned the rooms. . Monday morning the congested con dltion of the grade school was alleviated somewhat by the opening up of the new school rooms provided by the recently completed addition to the Harrington building. Since the opening of school a class has been held In the gymnasium and other rooms have been crowded awaiting the completion of the addition. An enjoyable Hallowe'en party was given by the B. B. Ladies Thursday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Singleton. The usual stunts "pulled" during the Hallowe'en season were a part of the entertainment which also included games, music and a delicious lunch. The guests, who were costumed report having enjoyed themselves Immensely. . Brazee Bailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Bailey of Bingham, and grandson grand-son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Hawkins of this city, recently underwent the eighth operation occasioned by a Serious injury which befell him at Bingham over a year ago. The young man has since been confined to the hospital where for a time he was mak ing good recovery but the last word received stated he was not doing so well at present One of the numerous Hallowe'en parties given during the week was a progressive party given by several ycung ladles bf thls cTty rand- Leni Thursday night The first course of the party was enjoyed at the home of Miss LaRee Chlpman, the. next at the home of Miss Wanda Dickerson after which the party progressed to Lehl where Miss Edith Ooates enter talned and wound np at the home of Miss Dorothy Jones. Atty Clarence Beck has had law offices in that building for some time past nd his brother, Ho- race, tor two years practiced law la Salt Lake City before going east over four years ago where he engaged In vaudeville and upon returning west resumed his law work. The guests who were costumed costum-ed and masked, spent the forepart of the evening in playing games suitable tor the occasion and in gueaaing the Identity of each other. At eleven o'clock o'-clock they were seated to a delicious turkey supper, during which appropriate approp-riate toasts were given and a motion passed to have a similar social gathering gather-ing each month; The rooms and tables ta-bles were decorated In Hallowe'en style, the latter having place cards, favors, etc., for the guests, prizes were awarded to the following: Char les Pierce for having the beat costume; cos-tume; Glenn Chadwtck for providing the moat amusement; I. The Student Body Officers of Am erican Fork entertained the officers of the Lehl and Pleasant Grove high schools at a party given In the local high school building Thursday even tag. The object of the social was to establish more cooperation and fel lowship among the schools. After dates were arranged for the coming student body activities the-time was spent in games and dancing followed by a delicious lunch. The visiting officers expressed their enjoyment and desire to hold similar parties dur ing the year. . - A 8enior meeting waa held Tuesday at 2:35 for the purpose pt deciding on the class rings. Many beautiful designs were shown but as yet no definite type, has been chosen.
