Poultry Classes Resume Sessions After Holidays "Our Boys" Well Liked Repeated Performance Per-formance Necessary The three act comedy drama, "Our Boys," presented by the Community PJ ay era of - the Third Ward, Jl rew a large and appreciative audience In the new gymnasium last Saturday after noon and evening. Each part was very well taken and reflected careful and competent coaching and directing. A number, who were unable to attend, and many who attended,' urged a re- peatal - of the play which was given again in the gymnasium - Thursday evening. o Bishop and Mrs. James T. Interesting Meeting Held By Daughters Of The Pioneers '""The Daughters of the Pioneers held a very successful and Interesting meeting Thursday afternoon at the home of Bishop and Mrs. John R. Hlndley. Mrs. Martha Featherstone of Lehi, formerly of this city, wai present and gave a sketch of her life from the time she Joined the church in England till she came to Utah. Bishop Hlndley gave a sketch of his mother's life, taken from her diary from the time she resided In the Isle of Mann till she imlgrated to Utah, and he also read extracts from the Journal of his father, who was captain cap-tain of the company that crossed the plains to meet the lmlgrants Including Bishop Hlndley mother. The journal was written In 1855. The Relief Society Chorus of the Third Ward furnished musical selections selec-tions during tbe afternoon. There was about eighty present. The next meeting will be held the first Thursday of February at the home of Mrs. William Hunter of the Third Ward. The weekly ' poultry Instruction classes, conducted by R. L. Ashby at tbe high school, were suspended for two weeks during the holidays but the classes will be held weekly from now on commencing wIth-nxtThursday afternoon at 1 o'clock. At this class tbe preparation for the caring of baby chicks will be discussed. The classes are open to all interested, interest-ed, poultry raisers of (he community Including Alpine and Highland, and Mr. Ashby reports that so far there has been a good attendance.
