Temple Kelli Edwards, daughter of Wayne and Jean Edwards of Lehi, will marry Jeff W. Kirkpatrick, son of Paul and Karen Kirkpatrick of Lehi, Wednesday, May 29, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will honor the couple that evening from 6 to 8 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kirkpatrick, Kirkpa-trick, an uncle and aunt of the groom, 189 N. 200 East, Alpine. In case of inclement weather it will be held in the LDS Chapel, 892 N. 700 East, Lehi. Bridal attendants are Jamie Ross, Wendi Kirkpatrick, Cadie Edwards and Can Edwards. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Teuscher Jacqueline Smith receives masters Jacqueline Smith will graduate June 1 with a masters degree in education from Westminster College Col-lege in Salt Lake City. She is the daughter of Leon R. and Betty L. Smith. Jacqueline's master's project was "Breaking Away from a Traditional Basal Reading Instruction to a Whole Language Approach in a First Grade Classroom." She has taught first grade for four years at Scera Park Elementary Elemen-tary School in Orem. She graduated from American Fork High School in 1982. Library announces summer program The American Fork Public Library Li-brary is holding registration for its summer reading program. Themed "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," the program is open to children ages three to 14. They are invited to participate in stories, sto-ries, crafts, special programs and classes, parties and prizes. Registration will be held June 3 through 8, and this year there is no charge. Participants are urged to sign up soon because class sizes are limited to better help the children. Peterson , the son of Paul and Margery Peterson of American Fork, recently graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Anderson Oral Biology Award and the Quintessence Quintes-sence Book Award for research achievement. Teuscher of American Fork is pleased to announce the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents who were married May 3 1, 1941. The occasion will be celebrated at a private family party in their honor. Marvin and Ruth are the parents par-ents of Karen Porter and Susan Chilton, both of Salt Lake City, and Mary K. They were married June 2, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. LeRoy was born on Provo Bench, raised in Lindon, and received his education in Lindon and Pleasant Grove schools. He has worked as an electrician for the Salt Lake and Utah Railroad, the U.S. Fuel in Carbon County, and Utah Power and Light. Ethel was bom in Lehi and raised in Manila. She went to school in Manila, Pleasant Grove, and the BYU. She taught school, worked for the state and Alpine School District in the school lunch program. pro-gram. Both Ethel and Roy have been active in the LDS church, Roy as branch president, athletic director in MIA, Stake Sunday School Super-intendency, Super-intendency, and High Priest Group Leader.
