Butler Florence Millar Butler, 72, a former Utah Valley resident, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1963, at home in Salt Lake of cancer. She was born Sept. 11, 1911 in Pleasant Grove, to Alexander Leonard and Nancy Elizabeth Green Millar. She married Harry Johnson, John-son, Jan. 1, 1931. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. He died Dec. 17, 1932. She married Arvid 0. Butler, June 8, 1935, at Preston, Idaho. She attended schools in Magna, Lindon and Pleasant Grove. She was a member of the LDS Valley View Eighth LDS Ward. She was manager and owner of Butler Dance Academy of Holladay. Survivors include her husband; a son, Rowland Butler; three grandchildren; brothers: brothe-rs: Harvey Millar, Richard Millar and Earl Millar, all of Pleasant Grove; Leland Millar and Clarence Millar of Lindon; a sister, Elsie Williams, Magna. Services were Friday at 1 p.m. in the Valley Eighth Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Salt Lake City. Evans LaVere Anderson, An-derson, 86, died Nov. 9, 1983 at his home in Lehi. He was born Sept. 17, 1897, in Vernal to Andrew An-drew B. and Hannah Evans Anderson. He married Liliane Pernoux, June 11, 1925 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died June 18, 1978. Mr. Anderson was a farmer, active in farming far-ming organizations. A member of the LDS. EVANS L. ANDERSON Church, he served as a the Lehi 1st WArd for teacher and as bishop of many years. He is survived by three sons and one daughter; Ralph E., Blaine, and Melvin anderson and Mrs. Donald V. (Marilyn) Nielsen, all of Lehi; 27 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Vernon Anderson and Mary A. Johnson, both of Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, Lehi. Interment was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Dallen D. Coates Edna Bringhurst Edna Ann Lamb Bringhurst, 101, of Highland, died Friday, Nov. 11, 1983. She was born Oct. 22, 1882, in Toquenrille, to Edwin R. and Elizabeth Hardy Lamb. She married Franklin Palmar Bringhurst, Sept. 10, 1902, in the St. George Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died April 7, 1960. She was a member of the LDS Church and worked in the various organizations. She was active in drama in her early life. Suvivors include three sons and two daughters: Maurine Bringhurst of Provo; Jack Bringhurst of Bountiful; Mrs. Lu' Goodfellow of Toquerville; Don Bringhurst of Highland; Robert Bringhurst of Roy; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday in the Winder 11th LDS Ward Chapel, Salt Lake City. Burial was in the Elysian Burial Gardens, Salt Lake. Dallen D. Coates, 85, of Provo, died Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Nov. 9, 1983, at Utah Valley Hospital. He was born Jaa 20, 1898, in American Fork, to William and Grace Greenwood Coates. He married Nellie Braby, July 24, 1924, in Washington. They were later divorced. He married Edna Miller, Dec. 16, 1935, in Malad, Idaho. She died Aug. 10, 1981. He worked as a salesman for Utah Woolen Mills and also as a salesman for Cool Breeze Awning Company Com-pany for many years. He worked for Geneva Steel as a guard. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I. He owned and managed an apartment house. He was a member of the Provo Elks Lodge 849 and served for many years on the Christmas committee. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Billie Grace Hathcock of American Fork; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters: Milissa C. Merrill, Vallejo, Calif.; Rebecca Morris, Sacramento, Calif.-, Marion C. Martin, Sebastopol, Calif.; Frank Coates. American Fork. Graveside services were held Friday at 2 p.m. in the American Fork City Cemetery under the direction of BPOE Elks Lodge 849. Full military rites were accorded by VFW District 4. She was born Aug. 19, 1905, in American Fork, the daughter of William J. and Sophia Johnson Greenwood. She married Robert Fage and they were later divorced. She married James L. Peterson, Jan. 3, 1945, in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died Aug. 28, 1976. She was a member of the American Fork 24th Ward. Survivors include one daughter: Mrs. Merlin (Norma) Hampton of American Fork; two stepsons and two stepdaughters: step-daughters: Dee Peterson of Leadville, Colo.; Jack Peterson of Seattle,- Wash.; Mrs. Miles (Dorothy) Gurr of Heber; Mrs. Ruth Bennett of Green River, Wyo.; 19- grandchildren; grand-children; 27 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Mercer J. Greenwood and Mrs. Lillian Beck; both of American Fork; Mrs. Leah Morgan of Provo. Services were Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the American Fork 24th LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Heber City Cemetery. Marc A. Osterloh m i i Marc A. Osterloh, 80, of Murray, died Hrffi in St. Mark's .Hospital in Salt Lake City after a lingering illness. He was born May 5, 1903 to Herman and Hermine Hardy Osterloh in Lehi. He married Violet Birk of American Fork June 23, 1930 in Provo. He was a native of ILehi and lived many years in Lehi and American Fork.' He was a prominent Salt Lake Gty food broker and owner of Marc A. Osterloh Company since 1948. He was a member of the LDS CHurch. Survivors include his wife of Murray; a son and a daughter, Kent M. Osterloh and Marilyn Sylvester, both of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren; one sister, Leona Schow, Lehi; one brother, Fred Osterloh, San Diego, Calif. Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 10, in the Murray 24th Ward. Services were conducted con-ducted by Bishop Gus Faust. The family prayer was by Lynn B. Deveraux. Prelude and postlude music was performed by Dorothy Werrett. The invocation was given by Wallace E. Brobery, and Marvin Sorensen sang vocal solos, "How Great Thou Art" and "In the Garden," accompanied by Edna Hamilton. Mrs. Werrett also performed an organ medley. Speakers included Fred Osterloh and Bishop Gus Faust. Howard A. Thorn gave the benediction. Bishop Joseph D. Shelton dedicated the grave at the American Fork City Cemetery.
