I have two topics 1 want to write about, and they are totally non -correlating, so here we go: freerke.com and band tour. Topic i L www.freeriee-com. www.freeriee-com. This Web site is actually really cooL and I discov ered it just the other day. When the homepage pops up, an English vocabulary word pops up, along with four choices of what it means. Here's the catch: for ev ery word you answer correctly, their server counts 20 grains of rice to be donated to help end world hunger. hun-ger. Their goals are twofold To provide English vocabulary and to help end world hunger. Now before you go cutting it. and sav ing that its not true, at least visit the Web site and read for yourself. You might be skeptical about how they are paying for all this, and it actually make some sense. The companies that advertise on the Web site (the ads appear wkh each new word) pay for the rice to be donated Pretty good if you ask me. As of now, over 25 billion grains of rice have been donated Not a bad idea. Topic 2: We left for band tour today. So as you are reading read-ing this, I am probably sitting on a bus, on my way to San Francisco. (If I could use exclamation ex-clamation points. I would here, but my editor told me I can't.) Anyways, we have a great trip planned for you, and by the time I have to write my next column. 111 actually still be on tour, so let's just leave this column here, and we'll pick it up next time in "Band Tour Part 2."
