Her children would like to honor and congratulate their mother on this milestone in her life. Lael was born in Provo, Utah to George Powel Powelson and Mary Caroline Davis. She married mar-ried the late Paul Bradford Creer of Spanish Fork, Utah in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1938. She has been widowed since 1973. They are the parents of four children--Roger, Carolyn, Ina and Diane. Lael graduated from Provo High School in 1934. She attended Brigham Young University and graduated from LDS Business College in Salt Lake City. She has been blessed with 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Lael has lived in Provo, Utah; Spanish Fork, Utah; Bethesda, Maryland; Grand Island, Nebraska; Ne-braska; Eugene, Oregon; and now resides in Orem, Utah. Traveling has been one of Lad's favorite pastimes. She has visited all 50 states and many foreign countries. One of Lad's most memorable trips occurred recently when she was able to attend at-tend the opening and dedication of the Nauvoo Temple with President Gordon B. Hinckley presiding and offering the dedicatory prayer. She is a descendant on all four of her genealogical lines of pioneers. Today she is one of the few remaining re-maining living granddaughters of original Mormon pioneers. Lael, among others, was instrumental in-strumental in commissioning the ' Family Statue that is located on the SW corner of the Utah County Office building in Provo. She is proud to have her name on the plaque of this monument. Lael is one of 11 children: She and her brother, Keith, are the only two surviving siblings. Lael is grateful to have personally person-ally met Heber J. Grant, David O. McKay, Spencer W. Kimball, Harold B. Lee, Ezra Taft Benson, and Gordon B. Hinckley. Jay was born on a ranch in Monfwell, Utah on September 29, 1926 to Arda and Charles Hullinger. Hull-inger. Jay married Luana Joyce Mc-Comie Mc-Comie on December 20, 1946. They have been married nearly sixty years. Jay really loves his family. He has seven children, 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. grand-children. They all love him and look up to him. He says he has no daughters or sons-in-law, just daughters and sons. He and Luana raised their family fam-ily on a small farm. Among other things he loves working with his garden and making things grow. He has passed his love for gardening garden-ing on to his children. Anyone describing Jay would have to comment on how dependable depend-able he is. If he commits to doing something, it will get done. He is very committed to his church and is very willing to serve wherever he is called. He would never let anyone down. He has a great love for country western music and his family loved it when he would spend some of his spare time playing his guitar and singing. He is an amazing musician and can play anything he hears. Jay worked for US Steel at the Geneva Plant for 42 years. He also served in the United States Ma-, lines aboard the USS Midway. Jay will celebrate this birthday with his family at a dinner to be held in his honor. Test State Road AnseroaFork J ' ) Mary Lee Edwards Mary Lee Edwards of Alpine, UT, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully peace-fully Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Timpanogos Regional Hospital after a courageous fight with diabetes dia-betes and kidney disease. She was born August 15, 1963 in Ogden, Utah to Mary Beth and Larry Edwards. Ed-wards. She served an LDS mission to San Antonio, Texas and was a graduate of Brigham Young University. Uni-versity. She loved BYU sports, the Utah Jazz, and was an avid Chicago Chica-go Cubs fan! Mary Lee also loved teaching her many Primary and Sunday School classes, tutoring at the Jr. High School and teaching an Institute class at BYU. Most of all she loved to share her testimony testimo-ny of the gospel of Jesus Christ. A diabetic since she was 13 months old, she lived on peritoneal dialysis dialy-sis for her last 17 years. Even with all her medical problems, Mary Lee always maintained a positive out look on life. Everyone who came in contact with Mary Lee loved her and her sense of humor. She was born on 10 November 1912 in Lehi, Utah, to John William Wil-liam and Rachel Evans Wing and is the youngest of four children. She married her high school sweetheart and eternal companion, compan-ion, George Isaac Bone, in the Salt Lake Temple on 3 June 1936. Valedictorian of her high school class, Arva received her two-year teaching (normal) degree de-gree from Brigham Young University. Uni-versity. She later attended BYU for her bachelor's degree in elementary el-ementary education. Arva taught for 32 years before retiring from the Alpine School District and always loved children. Arva often had a mischievous twinkle in her eye and enjoyed playing games with her family. She loved to dance and competed on old springboard, wooden dance floors when she was younger. She so loved travel, new adventures, and reading monuments that she was willing to go for a ride or trip with a moment's notice. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society. Arva was an accomplished violinist, pianist, pi-anist, organist, vocalist, and choir director.
