DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ARREST - A woman was arrested in Alpine for domestic violence after a physical altercation occurred inside the residence between the woman and her mother. The boy had assaulted his brother During the investigation officers found the boy was in possession of drug paraphernalia RETAIL THEFT - A 15 year old girl arid a 16 year old girl were cited for retail theft after they attempted to take cosmetic items from a local business The items totaled approximately $140. THEFT - A 38-year-old man was cited for theft after he attempted to take several pallets from a local business. ASSAULT A 17 year-old man was cited for assault after officers responded to a report of a family fight were the man had assaulted his mother. ARREST - A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of stolon property and possession of rnethamphetamine in a drug free zone. Officers responded to a call of a stolen motorcycle. They located the suspect and initiated a traffic stop. The motorcycle was located in the back of the vehicle. The man was searched incident to arrest and was found to be in possession pos-session of rnethamphetamine. THEFT - A 16-year old boy was cited for theft after he attempted to take a computer chip from a local yard sale. The chip was valued at approximately S2. ALCOHOL - Two 16-year-old boys, two 17 year-old boys, a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old girl were cited for illegal possession consumption of alcohol by minors after officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - A 41 year-old man was arrested for intoxication, criminal mischief mis-chief domestic violence and an outstanding arrest warrant after officers responded to a report of a family fight. Cedar Hills NOISE VIOLATION - A 30 year-old man was cited for noise ordinance violation after officers responded to a report of construction construc-tion work that had started too early in the morning. ASSAULT Officers responded to a report of an assault. They found that two roommates had a confrontation and one hit the other causing a bloody nose. Lehi DRIVING UNDER THE-INFLUENCE THE-INFLUENCE - A man was booked into the Utah County Jail on DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, para-phernalia, unsafe lane travel, no right headlight, no insurance, no seat belt and failure to notify the drivers license division of address change. BURGLARY ARREST - A woman was booked into jail on two counts of burglary and one count of theft. RETAIL THEFT - A juvenile boy shoplifted three items. He was cited for retail theft. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - A pumpkin was thrown through a vehicle window. Nothing was missing from the vehicle. Orem BURGLARY - Employees coming com-ing to work on Friday noticed the back glass door smashed and the cash register forced open at Italian Place at 1086 S. State. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen. BURGLARY - Thieves broke into a computer business Sunday at 1593 S. State and stole six lap top computers and two computer towers tow-ers from the store. THEFT A man reported Sunday night at about 11 p.m. that he was leaving his work in the area of 300 North 100 East and came out to see a turquoise Geo Metro parked in front of his car and two Hispanic males inside his car going through his belongings. The suspects had broken a window to gain entry into the victim's car. The victim wisely decided to get a license number on the Metro and call the police rather than confront the two suspects himself. The thieves made off with S200 cash, an Apple iPod, an amplifier and set of speakers. While searching for the suspect vehicle, officers confirmed that the turquoise Metro the suspects were driving had been stolen earlier ear-lier right around the corner from where the victim worked. Officers spoke with the owners of the car who were surprised to find their Geo Metro missing. They believed the Metro had been locked, but suspected that they'd probably left a set of keys inside of it. HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT - A 28-year-old Orem man admitted to trying to kill himself the night of Nov. 8 by driving his car into a garbage receptacle in the Starcrest Apartment complex at speeds between 15-20 miles per hour. It didn't work. He did, however, manage man-age to push the Dumpster into a parked car. The driver then ran off when the owner of the damaged dam-aged car came out to investigate. The driver was located a couple of blocks away trying to hide. He opened a pill bottle as officers approached and threw a handful of pills into his mouth. A quick grab to his throat by the nearest officer prevented him from swallowing swallow-ing and he spit them out, but the man said that he'd already taken a bunch beforehand. He was taken by paramedics to the hospital for medical and psychiatric help. Charges are pending. HOME BURGLARY - A 33 year-old year-old Orem man reported his home burglarized the evening of Nov. 7 while he was away. The home is in the area of 1200 S. Main Street. He suspected his teenage stepson, who lived with him until June of this year. There was quite a bit of damage done inside the home to items that had been hit and broken with a baseball bat. During the investigation, officers offi-cers spotted a marijuana pipe sitting sit-ting on a table. When asked what the man used that for, he replied, "I know you weren't born yesterday." He then smiled and said, "Okay, I use it to smoke my weed." He admitted to smoking three hours before. Before leaving to round up the stepson, the complainant was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. The step-son was located at his home and confessed to doing the damage. He was arrested and booked into the Slate Canyon Juvenile Facility. Get one free. Pleasant Grove i DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ASSAULT - $250 in damage was done to a front door, and $100 damage to bar doors during a domestic violence assault. When police responded, they found the suspect had fled the area. An arrest was made. ASSAULT - Officers responded to a residence on an assault report. Upon arrival they found a man and woman involved in a physical altercation. Officers also discovered a valid warrant for the woman. The woman was arrested . and transported to the Utah County Jail where she was booked in for domestic violence and for the valid warrant. The man was issued a citation for criminal mischief mis-chief and disorderly conduct. ASSAULT - Police responded to Rocky Mountain Elementary to assist other officers with a student. The student was taken into custody cus-tody for assaulting a teacher and an aide. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - Officers responded to a construction site. The complainant stated when he arrived on the work site, he noticed some cement work which had been poured on the previous night had been damaged. The man said someone walked on a cement retaining wall leaving footprints. The complainant also noticed two words had been inscribed into the wet cement. BURGLARY Someone entered a residence and took around $100 in cash. RETAIL THEFT - Three juvenile boys had entered a store and had concealed three boxes of cold medicine, leaving without paying. The boys were cited and released to their guardians. VEHICLE BURGLARY - A purse, CD cases with CDs, an Abuteral inhaler, about 60 Oxycontin tablets and five tank top shirts were reported stolen from a vehicle. THEFT A four-wheeler, several tools and other items were reported report-ed taken from a residence. VEHICLE BURGLARY - A DeWalt 14.4 drill, a Makita 14.4 drill, and Lennox step bits were reported stolen from a vehicle. THEFT A leather purse, woman's wom-an's wallet, cash and a Nokia cell phone were reported stolen from a residence. THEFT An unknown suspect took a motorcycle from the garage of a residence. Saratoga Springs DOMESTIC VIOLENCE Officers were called to a residence resi-dence where a man in his 30's had assaulted his wife in the presence of children.
