Bette Jean Facer Gleim is having a birthday on June 4, 2005, and it's hard to believe she is 80 years old! The family has lived in several locations, including Idaho, Wyoming, California, Arizona, and Sun Valley, Nevada. Dick and Bette have lived in Lehi for 20 years. The bride is the daughter of Volk-er Volk-er and Marjan Moulding of Mesa, Arizona, and Phil and Rene Hall of St. George, Utah The groom is the son of Larry and Susie Johnson of Highland. Janet is a graduate of Mountain View High School and Weber State College. She served a mission in Duesseldorf , Germany. She also served in the U.S. Army as a Personnel Per-sonnel officer. Janet is currently employed at Cytyc Medical Corp. The groom is a graduate of Lehi High School and Brigham Young University. He served a mission to Sacramento, Calif., and Cambodia. Klint currently works for the State of California in the Dept. of Finance. The couple will make their first home in Sacramento, California. Magleby Juris Doctorate Richard Savage Magleby, son of Kirk and Shannon Magleby of American Fork, received his Juris Doctorate of Law from Pepperdine Law School in Malibu, Calif., on Friday Fri-day May 20, 2005. He also earned his Certificate of Dispute Resolution. (Pepperdine has the number-one ranked program in the country for dispute resolution.) Richard served as president of Pepperdine's chapter of the J. Reuben Reu-ben Clark Law Society during his last two years of law school. He was chosen by his fellow students as one of three student graduation speakers. Magleby, a 1997 graduate of American Fork High School and 2002 graduate of BYU, will take the California bar exam this summer sum-mer and plans to work in criminal prosecution. Anderson, 80th Fern Thacker Anderson celebrated cel-ebrated her 80th birthday with a gathering of friends and family on Sunday, May 29, 2005. The celebration celebra-tion was a tribute to her life of love and service. Fern was born on May 31, 1925 in Heiner, Carbon County Utah. She married Robert B. Anderson on August 30, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. They raised 6 children and have enjoyed 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
